I like the idea of the "two ticks" but not sure if I like that the majority of seats are still essentially first-past-the-post. I watched a video yesterday on another "two tick" system: *Proportional Past the Post* If you're watching this, you may find it interesting.

Who are these videos for? Why are we using america as a point of reference? Would be nice to use these videos as a chance to inform the NZ public. Using a political compass is a little lazy. Surely using the social sciences you could investigate which party is coming up with the most effective policy and talk about that.
