BEST ALBUM EVER AT THE 1988/89 MINI RAMP FOR SURE!!!! ~ 1st time tricks,,NBD's(never been dones) with this album playing in late 1980's were Blunt variations, Blunt kickflips in fakie & 180,, Every Kickflip variation,,alot of fakie nose grinds & nose slides. And This album,,Ride The LIghtning,,SLAYER Reign in Blood,, Operation Ivy etc.. Man, what a great time.. I wish i could do it all over again. We were 13-15 years old then & we're the younger skaters & the big kids ruled. This was Skate & Destroy days not 'Skate & create'... Alot of fights & waaay more good times. Eventually a couch showed up & dudes dad built a small shed around the couch for the stereo.. ~MANY & I MEAN MANY Lost they virginity in the BoomRoom. Once the older kids moved on w/ life & we ran the show at 16 years old all of a sudden girls started hanging out & recording & it turned into Girls gone wild & Jackass type shit.... Funny how this story can't be told without this Helloween album..... probably the best 3 years of my life. ~We went from learning to drop in to learning to do fakie kickflips on the extension. Right when i stopped skating that mini-ramp was when dude was buiilding a newer larger mini.. Ours was only 4-5 foot tall.. 1980's skaters= guess where all that wood came from ;D lol
