great Video and good info, I belive you spend a lil to much time on the options, but great contend. one more thing it would be great if you would had hook up or connect to an ammeter see how much power it draws. now days as you said is hard to source power in venues. Im sure it blows out of the water my OLD Martin magnun 1800. Im planing on buying a fog to do dancing on the clouds. im tired of the ninbus filling, empty the water thing... then again 50 some lbs is not light... and 1500 ouch... can you recomend a fog machine that can do contiuos out put. thank you +1

what laser did you use to ligth the fog?

I find this unit they fail on the heating element which doesn't last long I send two units back 1000 & 1200

Have a snow machine - and it flashes purple despite the tank being full. Does that mean it thinks the tank is empty?

I have a Hurricane H1301, and it’s not working. The power light is on, and the main circuit board green light is on. But the heater is not on, and the pump doesn’t start. I removed the pump and had it cleaned. Same thing. What do u think?

Thank you for putting this video up sir. I havethe 1600 for 3 years. The first year, I used it every single day with never a problem. I've been using it for the last 2 years intermittently, especially around Halloween, holidays, and events. This fourth july, it started to do exactly this. I'm glad to know it just needs some deep love and maintenance, and it doesn't need to go blow fog at a farm up state.

I have a Hurricane 1301 and the wired remote yellow and red led are on once i plug it in and turning them off or on does nothing, Once it heats up it goes off on it's own for 5 to 10 seconds and stops! I had the timer and interval to zero. What is wrong. I tried both remote inputs since the manual and the printed inputs the unit are flip flopped

Question, is there a way I can pre record a pattern and play it back? Like if I’m playing for an audience, instead of controlling the lasers live, just clicking “play” when the song starts so it goes along with the song beat?

Joe Joe Joe it's called a microphone, essential to actual video reviews. What we wanted to know: WHAT IS THE BUBBLE RESIDUE LIKE? Noticeable? Voice is fine but we can't hear it. Your mic is waaay over here! Also when it's used just for bubbles there is still haze in them. So channel 4 is cleaner, I take it. Finally, maybe use more party-appropriate music and lighting?

I used one of these units last Halloween and it was a huge hit! So much cleaner, easier, and more efficient to operate that the open tray version. I wish it was easier to trigger manually with a remote and built in LEDs would be nice.

Does it leak or leave residue like the nimbus?

The effect only lasts a few mins and is only needed for a first dance really - these machines are expensive for the best ones and you can all do what I do which is buy the dry ice the day before your gig or a few days before store in box or open plastic camper box (Do not try to refrigerate) ...and put on glves break it up get the pellets use (gloves) and place into two bowls on dance floor and just add hot water from a flask or kettle ....tell a few jokes to audience about doing experiment on radio mic etc then get crowd excited and introduce first dance simple no machine needed for this efffect really. The plus point is this costs just the dry ice and the method does get a better effect than these machines and does not set off any smoke alarms.
