I know that with this comment people will probably tell me that I'm a killjoy, that I'm too touchy or sensitive. Some might even try to counter what I say by wanting to prove me wrong. Yet I still take the risk of explaining my whole point of view and my observations, which I think are closer to reality than the image that people have of Jungkook. I didn't understand the purpose of making this kind of video, other than to make fun of him. I think the same thing about all the videos like this one made by other people, it's not just you I'm pointing the finger at. My truth is not absolute so I'm not saying I'm 100% right but this video is part of a long list of videos that I don't like. Here, there are things that have nothing to do with hating losing, like for example : - When he teases Jimin during his Vlive. - When he is frustrated because no one listens to him or believes him (as usual) and everyone accuses him of being the culprit when he is the only one who found the 2 real culprits. - When Tae teases him over and over again by asking him unnecessary questions. Jk was just starting to lose his patience but he didn't take it as seriously as you would think. - When he whines and pouts in the escape room, he's just a bit confused and frustrated because he doesn't know what to do. Even though Hobi said "you should always let Jungkook win", I've never seen them do it, so I don't really understand the point of pointing that out. This suggests that Jk is a 3 year old kid who throws tantrums because they don't let him win and that they are afraid of him because of that. Plus, when he wins too much, they form an alliance to sabotage him, otherwise it's the staff who decides to go 1 vs 6, so Jk is very far from being the one they let win easily. I also want to say, none of them likes to lose (no one likes to lose anyway) and sometimes some are even more competitive than Jungkook. Yes, he is competitive but he is not someone who seeks to win at all costs, sometimes he doesn't even try and wants to have fun or he is just not interested. He's not the one who's always looking for little tricks to prevent others from winning points, he's not the one who's always looking to cheat, he's not the one who literally threw himself to the ground because he lost, etc. Besides, he almost never cheats and is even too honest. There was only one time where he was really "angry" (ep. 119) but for me it was much more to do with feeling betrayed and a bit of the shock of the news, because he didn't even know yet that he was going to lose... Also, he could have said nothing for the last photo but he did it anyway because he's too honest. He didn't push Hobi to win at all costs as you say but to annoy him and simply for fun. He often does things just for entertainment, just like when he climbed on the arcade game. It wasn't just to win by cheating, he wanted to apply the saying “do it smarter, not harder”, then he heard that it made his hyungs laugh so he did it again and he said to himself that he was going to get a score that was almost impossible to beat to gently annoy them. We can see that when he actually loses, so at the end of the episode, which doesn't happen often, he lowers his head and pouts but that's it. Otherwise, he smiles, congratulates others when they win, sometimes even celebrates the victory while he is on the opposing team, etc. He also often helps others win, such as the time he gave the engine of his car to Hobi so that he could earn points and avoid him being last. Hobi asked him why he was doing that, he replied something like "I'm already first so it doesn't matter if I don't win this time... I'm counting on you to win!". And even if in the end it was Jimin who finished first, Jk didn't say anything and didn't show any sign of protest, anger or anything. He handles losing better than many imagine. In the end, he doesn't care if he finishes first, third or fifth, as long as he's not last because he wants to avoid penalties. If he does the same thing over and over again, it's because he doesn't like to get stuck on a failure and likes to test his limits. He wants to prove to himself that he can do it, he challenges himself and almost never refuses when others challenge him because he likes to play. If he is provoked, he will do the same, he will make sure to prove to himself and to others that he can do it. When he bangs his fist on the table it's because he's frustrated at having given the correct answer but given a wrong word what made him lose his chance or because one of his hyungs beat him by only one point. He is frustrated and disappointed in himself, he says to himself "that was so close !". But if you look closely, the next second he is already smiling or laughing as if nothing had happened. All this to say that we have to look further than just the fact that he doesn't like to lose and that he is very competitive. He's the first to doubt his abilities and skills in singing, dancing, sports, etc. He's the first to say that he could have done better, that he's never good enough, that he's lacking of something, to apologize because he made a mistake that almost no one has noticed, etc. He gives everything he can to make ARMY proud of him, to make his parents, his hyungs and his friends proud of him and to make him proud of himself. He gives 150% because he's like that. He doesn't like losing, failing ok, but even if for others it's nothing, for him it's a disappointment. He's a perfectionist, he's almost never satisfied. He's persistent and continues a task until he succeeds, which is why there are times when he does not participate more than that in games. For example, in the Blue Village episode, he was so preoccupied with looking for his diary that he didn't do anything else. Sometimes he gives up because he comes to the conclusion that he is not good enough and that he will not succeed. I didn't write this novel just to defend Jungkook but it's tiring to see people only look at/see him on the surface and draw hasty conclusions without even realizing that by making this kind of video, they are giving him a falsely realistic image. I can no longer count the videos where he is portrayed as someone angry, or as a child who cannot do anything for himself, as a 26 year old adult who is still treated like a child or worse like a baby, etc etc. He's always infantilized no matter what he says or does and he's not even respected by many people of the fandom he loves so much. It's one thing for him to not be your bias, but for you to pass him off as someone he's not or to make videos of him for laughs, without realizing that you're actually yourself making fun of him, is another thing. Not to mention the comments which upset me the most. I don't expect you to read everything I've written, nor do I expect anyone to do so. I'm not really expecting a response anyway and I think this is the first and last time I'm making this kind of comment. I just wish people would stop making fun of him all the time, making him out to be someone he's not, shipping him with everyone and then making him out to be a super toxic guy and to treat him like a trash boy who can be disrespected without shame or remorse. I would like him to be treated as a human being who has emotions, feelings and you are wrong if you think he is not aware of anything. I would like people to think about the fact that it can be harmful and that it's also tiring to see/know that people have a bad image of us when we haven't done anything bad to anyone. I'm not saying all this only in relation to this video but in relation to everything I have seen or read...

hi. it's 4 am and im here again. it's one of those days. I'm realizing once again that we still have a little less than a year left until we hear from yoongi again. i feel so tired and lost and even though time will just fly by because jin is back home now, i still don't know if i can make it through waiting for another year. i miss him so much. i miss his voice and i miss the words he says with them. they help me get through each passing day but it also makes me tear up knowing i have to wait yet again for him. i don't even know anymore. i just wish he was here, with us and freely posting. i hope he's doing well. right now that's the only thing i can keep wishing.
