A morse taper and platform switch require sharing more information with the laboratory to assure good restorative results. 1- share an xray! Neodnet implants are typically placed subcrestal how does the lab know how deep with out an xray?!!!... 2- restorations have to start concave from the 3.0 platform and emerge gradually. 3 - SHARE the size of the healing abutment placed! The labs should be mirroring the same size healing abutment in diameter and gradual emergence out to contacts of teeth.

If an abutment screw was to fracture inside Zi Implant, there are some specific tools that could be ordered by Neodent to help remove the fracture piece of screw inside implant. Must contact regulatory to create a case file and have parts sent to help with removal. Very similar parts are ordered for GM connection (different implant connection) to remove abutment screw in similar manner.

In the event a Zi Implant is fractured one can order a trephine bur with guide to help with precise removal of implant. Need to match implant diameter with appropriate trephine diameter. irrigation is always used with trephine and it should "core" out implant.
