I was just able to trade-in my (2017) motorhome toward a new travel-trailer. This is my 3rd try. Couldn’t get enough $$ trade-in until now. I was pleasantly surprised.

We made a deposit on a new 2024 Thor Outlaw 29J, we had it inspected by a NRVIA INSPECTOR, we ran from the dealership and got our deposit back. I could not believe all the defects , some were safety issues, from the factory. Most RVs are junk and the repairs fall back on the customer because the factory warranty will say that the customer did not do the preventative maintenance. $850 saved me $120K , The is no reason that an RV cannot be inspected on the factory assembly line, the factories don’t have time for an assembly line inspection because of the mass production of junk!

Boy are you right as rain. Your gold, silver and all that crap will be worthless shortly after a shtf event. Food old tools to grow food and seeds will be the top thing's. Yes weapons and ammo but medicine will be worth a ton. It's not that I'm a die-hard prepped because I'm not. But I am a old country boy who knows the value of having stores for the hard times. Farmers have to have things put up because of you have a bad year that's what your going to live off of. Been there done that. But you are oh so right about very few things having value in that world. A very good video!!

I did not wait for the interest rates to drop. I don’t think they are. If they do I will refinance. We bought our fifth wheel last weekend. The wife and I both had cancer( at the same time) and realized that life is not guaranteed. Live life to its fullest. Thanks for the information you provide.

I would have to disagree with you about the quality issue. The rv companies need to put more money in training the people that make the units. Armageddon type break downs are not what people are mad about. It's all of the small stuff that could have been avoided at the factory.

Ok let's hit the one piece sink. I love the large one piece sink. It can do so much more that a split sink. I can put a small plastic tub in it to make it a split sink. I'm a old fart and when I was younger and had my kids in wild camping. The larger one piece sink made one heck of a bathtub for the kids. Way longer than I should have used it for that. I had all boys and used the one piece sink as a tub till they literally wouldn't fit in any more even with their legs on the counter. Of course if we were close to water they got the bar of ivory soap because it floats and got a bath in the creek, river, pond or lake. My grandkids got the same treatment. Boy or girl didn't matter. With wild camping things like big bites and ticks is something we always inspect for from head to toe. I love wild camping because it's just a spot of ground with nothing around. No water, no electricity and sanitation area. You dig your own privy and use quick lime. No one around to bother you or keep up at night partying. They now call it disperesed camping. But wild camping is a bit different because it's in areas not normally camped in. The only things that limits it is food and water. Hence the reason I love the one piece sink because it saves a ton of water even giving baths and I'm not bending over to give a bath. But to each their own. I would love it if you could put a link so I could see spec's. Although I'm really looking more for a my toy hauler. Not for toys but to use it as a office with the ability to haul my books and filing cabinets which will weigh as much as a toy. One thing that you pointed out but should have mentioned more was the USB ports was on the wall. Not down low on furniture. So they are not in the way or worse getting broken. Big plus in my humble opinion. Thanks for the walk thru you always give good ones.

Why not Do Away with couches and bench tables. Who really uses them ?? Everyone I have seen people take them out and build for storage instead. MAKES SENSE.. Build a long length wisr with storage under it. I hate the bench seating with table. I pull them out right away. They are useless. Big and bulky..
