コメントとチャンネル登録を有難うございました。ご存知かも知れませんが、この場所は野生のシマフクロウが飛んでくるのですが、人工的な餌場に、自然に近い生餌（魚）を泳がせている所に飛んできます。そして、特殊なLEDによるフラッシュ照明（フクロウさんに害がないように設計している、との事ですが、、、）で、カメラの設定を指示通りにするとそこそこの写真が撮れます。眠気と寒さに負けない気力があれば挑戦するのも良いかも知れません。

These were taken around 4:30~5:00pm on the 6th of October, 2012. The sun angle is changing everyday which could make the impression different. My images were taken in October and could be different from summer time. However, if you take photos over there, I would suggest spending time from at least 90 minutes before sunset thgough just after sunset time where the sun light is gentle and lower angle.

I can share the exact location for the first place but not for the second place because I found this place with my friend and we promised not to share with 3rd party. The moon is in its new moon phase because the sun is only lighting the back of it, so we can't see the front.

Yes, 10/28/16. There were no leaves when I visited there one week later which is shown later part of video but different spot.

Thank you so much for the reply. Is the first place (where the leaves are there) road accessible ? what about the 2nd place (where the leaves have all fallen off) ? Really I've been into photography for long enough and shot a lot of fall foliage, but really this one is the best I have ever seen... says my wife too. They're not moving at the same speed. That's why they don't last forever. And also this happens normally on other planets especially Jupiter.

Thank you for your comments. This place is very popular as you are aware and usually I go there before 9:00pm to secure the spot for my tripod. It will be raining (possible snow mix) tonight and I expect less crowds than typical year. Depending on where do you want to place the tripod (camera), you can find the spot even if you arrive there 11pm (not necessarily finding the best spot though). I think the parking and driving out are another challenges. I would suggest finding parking on far west side of Kerry Park and drive through Ballard on the way bak. I probably will go to Gas Works Park this evening.
