No, the Linear sits almost flush with the grille so sits behind the camera. This would only be an issue if fitting a larger product such as the Triple-R across the width of the grille, but we don't offer this as a result.

It is down to the system in the car providing a high beam signal to the bar. We have not tested this since the matrix update was relased, but is WIP. Watch this space!

I've consulted with our Vehicle Integrations Specialist and yes it should work on the Lariat with Tremor package, as the Tremor package just changes the colour of the grille.

Hi there, We considered the Carbon-4 for E-Mark, and it has the potential to meet the regulations, albeit the current feedback we have is that a large majority of customers don't require it. This may change in the future with further feedback and thank you for your comment!

Hi Paul, the Linear 18 Elite+ does not have a position light feature, so there is no light emitted from the lamp besides when high beam is activated. If you would like a Lazer Elite+ product with position light then the Triple-R 1250 or 24 Elite+ will be better suited to you.

The outer 2 lamps are fitted using our dedicated Sentinel mounting kit, the centre lights are mounted using number plate brackets and stay bar kits.

Great thanks. They are the 7” or 9” lights to have room for all 4?

The round lights fitted to the front of the car are the Lazer Sentinel 9" and are high beam and position lights only, not fog use.

We have no plans to sell this technology separately. It would also not be possible to connect up to any 'regular' auxiliary lighting if we were to produce it as a standalone unit.

It is not possible to use the cars existing matrix system to control this lamp. The only way to have the two working together is the lamp will enter low beam assist mode as soon as the car has removed zones from the headlight projection. Thanks for your comment. The i-LBA technology is not something we plan to release as a standalone system. It is a key part of the three lamps it features on, and would be very difficult to implement in other scenarios

Yes, the E Mark mode of this lamp is complaint with UNECE Reg 149, so therefore legal to use on the road. E Boost and combo are for off road use if they do not meet the regulations where you are.

Oh Really??!! Well this is AWESOME NEWS!! I have been searching high and low for some kind of device to give me a automatic high beam assist, which shuts off when oncoming traffic approaches. I even tried creating my own using 2 different photocell sensors and timer relays, but with poor results. One of your led bars with i-lba will be perfect in my bumper for this purpose. Yes, any of our wiring harnesses will be ok to use on your Sprinter and are ok to be spliced into the main beam feed. We have done this plenty of times with no issues. If you require any more information before committing to a kit, feel free to get in touch to sales@lazerlamps.com

Hi Ben, Our Engineers consider many variables when designing our mounting solutions such as light optics, strength and aesthetics. Our grille kits should always be viewed as a permanent addition to the vehicle.

@@benriefourie115 Just below the level of the grille is the crash bar, use some 50mm box section with the flat steel poking out through the slats in the grille and use a long coach bolt to hold it all together. Rock solid!

Yes you can, you will need to link up the high beam feeds, ignition feeds and i-LBA switch wires together, and both lamps will operate together, with the internal sensor of both lamps still being functional.

@@Lazerlamps Another question - is there a version of your products with ILBA but with ref. ECE 25 or less? Is there an option to convert Linear elite 18 ILBA to the double certified lamp? Original high beam lamps in my car are ref. ECE 25. In most UE country we have to use two or four high beam lamps (1, 3 or more than 4 = illegal) and the amount of ref. ECE points of all the high beam lamps have to be equal or less than 100 Please help me :)

@@rale6554 Hi there, Some of our single LED bars are ‘double-certified’ but unfortunately the i-LBA is not one of them. The Linear-18 Elite (without i-LBA) is a product which is double certified, which would be a great alternative in this case.

The Linear lamps have narrow up/down spread, between 15 and 20 degrees depending on model which help reduce this glare on the bonnet, or on the road depending on mounting location. The Sentinels should be really good for this too, so feel free to get in touch before making another purchase

@@Lazerlamps as a North American dealer, we will get with the Triple R division. Generally though, for roof applications would the linear & Triple R (in USA it’s “LR”) have similar spread on the hood, or does one have notably less glare? The sentinels have so much windscreen glare that they are almost unusable up high.

The lamps are the same worldwide. (UK/EU/Asia/Australasia) As they are high beam lamps they do not have any cutoffs to the light, only the full beam pattern shown on the respective product page on our website.
