Try the victoriox 3 or 4 in. Paring knives available in that kitchen style drop point paring OR in a hooked blade for skinning veggies or apples. Real nice, safe textured grip and fairly priced. I was a butcher for over a decade on a kill floor down to deli prep stuff... Im talking like under a ten dollar bill for 2

That's right and the important thing to remember is that if you tie a rope onto the handle and you are in a rubber speed boat full of navy seals, those spikes will become useful for ⚓️ anchoring to a tree or something so that boat doesn't float away or so you can pull the boat in towards land in an amphibious landing with engines off....and that's about the only situation where there will ever be any use for those ridiculous spikes. They just aren't going to help you much any other time, and they are going to stab into your hand.
