Slightly better video of the GP12 and next to a GP8 for size comparison :-)

World’s first (may be?) …. 3 phase phase air raid siren, WB1400 and inverter … all powered from 24 volt car batteries…. Low-speed run only, but Proof-of-principle for full portable WB1400 display. The siren should power to full-speed from this set-up as previously proven ;-)

Castle Casting running in the US via a VFD to supply the British motor with correct voltage and Hz…. Awesome.

Has to be my most favourite video.
Great to see the complete setup from Comms to activation of the siren. The detail is next level. 😊

It's Siren Head
"Damn, the Luftwaffe is here again 😨."
den sound gibts hier jeden Sonntag abend bevor wir grillen und saufen mit lauter Musik bis zum Morgengrauen. Arbeitnehmer hassen dieses Geräusch, und Polizei kann nix machen 🤣
🇬🇧, 😬 - how realistic that small/miniature replica 3D printed “British” air-raid/civil-defence siren sounded to its full-sized vintage/war-relic equivalent, the uniqueness of the siren being the duel-tone pneumatic/air-chopping type? I like to think that, like the French ~ if the UK had kept its siren network after the Cold War, it would be more effective “alarm” system than the government emergency message now mass-sent to our smartphones - with those you can choose to “ignore” them, but with a siren sounding the “alert” outside, you are certainly not going to ignore it 😨 and unlock phone, turn on the telly/radio to hear the warning and take the appropriate action
Gives me chills every time I hear one of these
Where do you get your sirens from?
Bro should hook this up to his door so when every time someone comes in his house, this thing starts playing at full speed🤣🤣
Oh no not again
That’s the nuts

Ahh ? Awesome idea, I love it and what you’ve done! 😁
As somebody who grew up during the Cold War, seeing those red lights flash still sends shivers down my spine. I lived yards away from UKWMO / ROC Group Control No.1.
Fantastic! What a great video and a superb setup.
Ah yes, my old school bell💀
I think of the worst aspect of this sound is the wind down. People always talk in comments about how the sound of an air raid siren can invoke feelings of fear even in people who have never experienced them for real, simply because we know the association of what the sound means. But for me, that wind down, the slowly fading away sound, is the most powerful part of it. Because I imagine the families in the war slowly starting to emerge from their bunkers, unsure of what the damage was and what pieces have been left for them to pick up.
I have Air raid sirens as my alarm tone.
Our school uses this for earthquake drills
im not even kidding i was in school the otherday abt to eat lunch with my mates and here a air raid siren (it was used to warn miners at a Quarry that a bomb was going off to explode rocks or some shit) we all fr thought it was real 😂
how much is one of these?! :D
The sound that should have been heard every time my old plant manager came unto the work floor….
The ps4 when you don't clean it 0:01
I remember I was in Kentucky on the second Tuesday of the month around 10am that’s when they do their tornado drills and that siren came on and ironically no one was near and I was driving trucks at the time so I was looking around to find a place to hide but also looking at the sky because it was raining but not really bad and it didn’t look like a tornado was coming then no one was running so I just crawled in the back of my truck and said if I’m going down I’m going down in comfort 🤣🤣 and that’s when the guy finally came back out to start unloading my truck and he told me it was just a drill and they do them every month on the second Tuesday at 10am so since then I refuse to go to Kentucky on the second Tuesday of the month🤣🤣🤣 scared the crap outta me
How you get this old one

Looks to be a Klaxon GP8
This is one of the scariest sounds i ever heard. I can’t fathom to think what soldiers felt
How to not wake your girl

А я думаю откуда звук берется когда электричка разгоняется 🤭😆😁
