    Hello! How old were you when you were trying IVF? I am 42 years old and I tried once but I had a poor response. I'm wondering if I should do a second try because it is too expansive for me. Since you had a poor response in cycle 1 and a good response in cycle 2, could you tell me what was the difference in the protocol? Thank you

    at what stage where your embryos frozen, I am confused where the frozen day 2 and thawed and where at a day 3 cell range when you transferred, this seems such a odd cycle thing to do, did you not get any to day 5 blast, I am so confused why they thawed you embryos the day before transfer, where they vitrafied, I am so lost to how your clinic does things, I have only ever had frozenblast, or frozen 3 day embryos thawed the day of transfer.

      Hi Rachel, it’s such an exciting time when you first start your journey and get to finally be actively ttc. I was worried about how I would feel too and had no clue what to expect. I honestly would say that you learn quickly as you go through it. It’s easier said than done but I try to remember that each round could be the round that we conceive our child and so try to just not over think it and enjoy it. You may be one of the lucky ones who is one and done 😊. Whatever happens though you do get through it, I promise. I’ll be keeping everything crossed for you both 🤞🏽

      2 Mums in Oz thank you so much! I found out that I have pcos as well so now I’m feeling even more disheartened and I’m waiting to see our doctor soon. It’s an awful feeling like you can’t even be a woman properly 😔 but gotta stay positive. Thank you for your reply! X

      Every negative pregnancy test I do keep that in the back of my mind and hope that I am the bloods are a lovely surprise. Its so hard to wait to test though! (as im sure you know). Thanks for the hugs xx

    My thoughts are with you.... also you properly know this now... but the little window closes to the clear blue logo is a control line... to tell you that test is “switched on” so to speak if you dipped it and no line appeared in the control windows you know the test is defective.... it’s the big window you focus on... even a faint + line is a positive... you will still have two lines in different direction with clear blue.... I try and stick to the cheapies just because they seem easier to read and I can be a little bit more obsessive. Lol. Xoxo

    It's really frustrated to late too long. But you will get the good result of that journey. It's your last cycle, and you will get the positive result. My cousin also has IVF through Biotexcom clinic. She also waited. But that wait is not long. And now she has a baby boy of six months. So be strong everything will be alright.     I'm so sorry you had this experience, I had a chemical pregnancy myself back in October 2017 after an ectopic in February of the same year so please know you're not alone and I'm glad you have Sarah and Harris for support. :) On a brighter note, I live in Perth!
