1:05:30 This question, “if you truly believe” is the root issue of the anti democracy x abortion alliance. If you truly believe abortion is immoral, then pluralistic and secular governance is unfavorable. Democracy and 50 years of Roe killed, their view, millions of fetuses and public support has only grown. For them, democracy either doesn’t function or authoritarian actions need to be taken for a critical realignment. They’re desperate and that’s what makes them fertile for fascism.

1:00:55 No, protestant ministers by and large did not accept the decision of Roe v. Wade when it came out. Examples of protestant ministers who opposed the decision when it came out were Billy Graham, Carl F. H. Henry, W.A. Criswell, Adrian Rogers, and Francis Schaeffer. In order to believe that they "by and large" accepted the decision, you would have to ignore many MAJOR pastors of the time. Billy Graham for example, was surely no lightweight guy relegated to some backwater church in the countryside, but was a pastor who had a MAJOR following.

If people want a Christian Nation why can't they have it? It's extremely tyrannical in principle to think you have a right to stop people from having the form of government they want. Government exists to serve the people. The people don't exist to serve the government. And that's the problem with you Statist tyrants. You want to impose your idea of government on people, and you don't give a rat's rear end how much they hate and despise it. I want Christian government because Christian government is more likely to be limited, and to allow a sphere of private activity where freedom can operation. You guys are a bunch of communist wackos who want to control everyone in a totalitarian way, even down to controlling all our thoughts.

Clearly neither have you read the Bible, nor you know anything about Jesus. Starting from bringing humanity to the earth, to bringing Jesus Christ to the earth, it was women. God gave equal rights to women even in the Mosaic law. There were a lot of women who ruled the Israelites even before Kings showed up. Jesus' ministry during his life on earth and after was supported by many women. Anna was a prophet that held Jesus as a baby. There are very few examples. So, I have no idea what you are talking about. Don't project your misogyny on Christianity.

True Christianity and religion are two different parallels. If anyone truly has the heart of Christ in them they are a new creature - Christ sets them free from bondage. On the other hand is religion , and we all know that Religion Crucified Christ... especially the fanatical Barabbas and Judas... religious zealot coalition.... a true follower of Jesus Christ picks up this cross and follows the Lord to Calvary where he dies to old self , is resurrected new in Christ eternally.

All trump did was step into a known void our american by default founding principles. John wesly would no doubt recognize this everyone worships something if they know it or not. Religious freedom isn't just christianity. The corruption to public / private sector has to be returned . Philanthropic corruption returned as intended. Idk where shes getting some pro heirchy this is not true its a majority very skeptical of it. By default the larger vote block dictates this part of the movement.. Every family cooperated on experimental reforms until they failed. We tried now its time to accept its failures ..we aren't a nation when all major voices arent participating like the past 60+ yrs.. It benefited poor vets who chased communist into china then sons who guarded dmz south korea. Then to cry before reagan turn us into the very top down ruled global socialism they faught against. Now the great grandchildren who has compromised so long have internet and no longer can be silenced. Now the majority voice of multi generations can communicate with each other. The qualifications of a candidate should not be issue-oriented as much as character-oriented. They should be “able” and “experienced” men of course for the position which they seek. Beyond that, Scripture says they should be men who “fear God, ” that is, they should be Christians, as affirmed by John Jay. They should also be “men of truth” and “wise and discerning” men. This means that they should be Christians with a Biblical worldview-men who reason from absolute truth, not human wisdom. Many candidates may claim to be “Christians,” but do not hold to a Biblical worldview. Former President Jimmy Carter was an example of a Christian whose mind was unrenewed by Scripture and thus reasoned and governed from a “humanistic” worldview. Finally, Scripture says that our representatives must “hate dishonest gain.” This means that beyond a correct worldview, they must have Christian character, a godly home life, and pure motives…. Even if Christians manage to outnumber others on an issue and we sway our Congressman by sheer numbers, we end up in the dangerous promotion of democracy. We really do not want representatives who are swayed by majorities, but rather by correct principles. - Beliles, Mark A. and McDowell Stephen K. (1991, 265) America’s Providential History Behold the political objectives of Christian Nationalism. This is grass roots fascism. 18:44 But when you look at the political messaging in more detail ... See Naomi Oreskes' (2023) The Big Myth: How American Business Taught Us to Loathe Government and Love the Free Market. She also shows how this message was infused into the religious community, especially the evangelical Christian community, and it has led to what we are seeing today. Every Pastor should read her book. The objective of these think tanks that funded this propaganda was to brainwash the American people to believe that Market Fundamentalism was God's will ( czcams.com/video/pmRb4HhoGnU/video.html ).

I am only half-way through at the moment, but so far I don't think I have heard anything mentioned about the predestination nonsense that is often espoused by these far-right rich-loving lickspittles. It would have been considered absolutely ridiculous by all Christians prior to Adam Smith, as best as I can tell. But it essentially goes as follows: God is all-knowing, all-seeing. God therefore knows who will make it into Heaven before their lives are ended. God is also all-Just. It would be unjust to punish those who God knows are headed to Heaven. Ergo, you can tell those who are destined for Heaven by how well God is treating them in the here and now. Now that's just ridiculous!! But more than that, it turns over 1500 years of traditional Christianity on its head!! They are ANTI-Christ!

With few exceptions, we're not that far removed from the days of slavery -- especially if you imagine that the slave owners got disinterested in managing the housing, healthcare, etc., for their slaves. They've essentially come up with a 'chit' system (since currency is no longer backed by gold) that they give to their slaves to give them a modicum of choice as to where they live...but no REAL option of attaining a higher station within that system.

Right out of the gate there appears to be a very serious problems with your polemic. You appear to be able to articulate what you are opposed to however the propositional content is largely false or is otherwise incoherent. Case in point, Ms. Stewart, despite her palpable animus toward Donald Trump, begins her polemic with a characterization of the religious as oriented to the political right. This seems to be an assumption she makes that is no where defended in her presentation. Moreover, she employs the use of the term “Fascism” which she imputes to certain views that she opposes. I suspect that according to Ms. Stewart’s thinking there is a logical continuity between characterizing the opprobrious religious as oriented to the political right and thus ascribing Fascism to the content of the views they hold. I submit there is a manifest absence of continuity between Ms. Stewart’s politically right oriented ascription's and Fascism. To begin with, Fascism is a subspecies of Non-Utopian Socialism, which is itself a species of the genus Non-Reductive Collectivism. Accordingly, Fascism located within the genus Non-reductive Collectivism is unmistakably Leftist in its political orientation. The political Left have two core constituent ideological commitments: Ontological AntiRealism and Collectivism. Additionally, the Fascists being former Socialists were all ardent Atheists and Anti-Clerical. Nationalism itself spans the political spectrum and manifests on both the political right and the left. Case in point: Nationalism oriented to the political right is present in the thought of George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, John Adams, James Madison and Thomas Jefferson. All Nationalists yet Nationalism that has as its foundation Classical Individualism which is decidedly distinguishable from Collectivism. Nationalists on the political left include: Lennin, Stalin, Mao, Pot, Mussolini, Hitler, Kim and Castro. All ardent Collectivists and all ardent Nationalists. Also, all atheist and vehemently anti-clerical. Hitler Aryanized Christianity insofar as for Hitler and National Socialism the nation was the Aryan Race. Aryanized Christianity was in its most coherent manifestation a pagan expression of mythic proportions consciously weaved into a state religion. The Christian Nationalists as you describe them, and I’ll grant for the sake of discussion that your characterization is accurate, seem to me to be Collectivists. But what sort of Collectivism is relevant here? Is it the sort espoused by the political right which at best is described as solely pragmatic and Mereologically reducible to its parts. This idea is referred to as Reductive Collectivism. The relation between the whole and its parts is an asymmetric relation of dependence such that the whole depends on its parts for its constitution as a whole yet the parts never lose their ontological identity as parts. Another words, the whole is reducible to its parts and its parts are superior in principle to the whole. Extrapolate this idea into a political context, the corollary is a republic….. see Federalist 39. The founding fathers expressly rejected Democracy. see Federalist 10 Is this the sort of Collectivism that is logically consistent with Christian Nationalism as you have described it? Certainly not……. The sort of Collectivism that reasonably approaches this sort of nationalism is Non-Reductive Collectivism. In Non-Reductive Collectivism the whole is not only not reducible to its parts but instead is superior in principle to its parts and thereby eliminates the ontological identity of the parts as parts as they are incorporated into the whole. The Collective is expressed politically as the Nation or the State. Consolidation, centralization and planning are the chief organizational features of the Collectivist State. The essential functions of the state, i.e. the legislative, executive and judicial powers are consolidated and centralized in one person or one political organ. Individual rights that through their operation create duties in a republic are supplanted solely by duties imposed by the state. Central planning and production for use displaces production for profit. This is the Collectivism espoused by the political left. It differs only in content and object from what you described as Christian Nationalism but is otherwise related in effect. The content of the Christian Nationalist differs in content from the Utopian or Non-Utopian Collectivist as well as the object. The content: presumably Biblical Principles or a similitude thereof; and, object: a Christian nation or nation governed wholly by Christian Principles determined solely by the state. But the effect is identical, an omnipotent state and the corresponding elimination of the individual. Without the effect, a coercive central power with a monopoly on force, the object cannot be achieved. This is the sort of Collectivism subscribed to by the political left and it appears based on your description that it is the sort of Collectivism subscribed to by the Christian Nationalists. If not, then how is it that they can achieve what you say they hope to achieve without a coercive central power with a monopoly on force that consciously constructs the ends of the state and by force orders the ends to completion. Historically, this is Leftism in and of itself.

The public will grow weary of these suppressive philosophies/policies of the Religious Right using Christianity as a vehicle to take charge of American lifestyles and to destroy democratic principles. Trump is the absolute phony leader of this movement and a sadly inept, poorly educated and criminal individual, once a New York Democrat, who is simply using “The Religious Right” and the GOP as a tool to garner votes and power. Once Trump becomes President the second time he will dump these Righters as he gains a Putin-like dictatorship unless he can manipulate them to harm and control the public in ways he desires. As the public grows angry and frustrated it may be too late to return back to democratic aims.
