Hawaiian Style BBQ is located in the shopping center on the corner of Alexander Drive and Washington Road in Augusta, Ga. We did try the lumpia, definitely would recommend. Also, their style of BBQ is more like what we call 'gray hash' but without the onion. It was very good.

A visit to Carolina Bar-B-Que in New Ellenton, SC. Buffet style. Serving good southern Bar-B-Que since 1969. I didn't see any hot bbq sauce or vinegar/red pepper flake sauce. Remember going there in 1969. Great hash and rice. My little sister worked there shortly after opening. Used to have loafs of bread and tea pitchers on their tables. Think it $3.00 for all you can eat but sadly still didn't have vinegar sauce like on Joe Poe's place on Augusta Highway.
Miss the hash and rice, can't get here in VA. There is another great place right down the street, Carolina BBQ in New Ellenton.

You should have gotten the cheese burger and fries. I can hear old bubba talking about nick pascarella who was the sreak king in Augusta.
If it's not steak night (or they run out of steaks) I get the hamburger steak. ;)

In the late 50s there were two high school girls, in a small k12 seven miles up the road a bit. Friends for life, but competitors as well. One girl's family name is on a local college building. The other girl's family name is the name of the town where the train is. I married the first girl. What a treat for life.

When I walk into a restaurant and see that plexiglass nonsense, I turn around and walk straight out. Not going to deal with it.

There is no expectation of privacy in a public place (per the courts). That said, I try not to film others unless they work there (they will let you know if they object.
Passing through, I decided to stop to see what all the hype was about. No, no and no!! I ordered fried chicken with 2 sides. I asked for white meat..and the server gave me the smallest piece of breast I had ever seen. The other staff wasn't too friendly, because they were all Young. I have had better. The barbeque appeared to be dry so I didn't even bother. I guess this is what most people in the area are used to. Not me.. I will keep pushing through. Don't believe the hype...

Onion rings look nasty and the steak doesn’t look any better.
The onion rings are hand battered, so they are fresh, not frozen and don't have the uniformity of factory made ones. That first bite of steak has flakes of onion ring batter on it. Thanks for watching.
I love this place. And the catfish is my favorite
Yes, they have good food (that's what other people tell me) but all I ever get is the catfish. I know the beef tips are good because they use the gravy for that to put on rice.
I believe the second largest was in North Carolina. Before this one was built the one in North Carolina was the biggest.
