Love seeing Mary Alice Monroe on your shelf😊
Yes! She is definitely a go-to summer author! 😁
I bought cottage by the sea recently and I was looking for a good review, thank you! And by the way, your accent sounds very nice ^^
Thank you! Hope the review helped you! ❤️
congratulations with your baby 🥰🥰 Hope you can get to read some even though there is a baby :) The night swim and float plan sounds really interesting. Thank you for some book recs
Thank you!! 😊
I also love the cover of The Only Survivors. So pretty!!
You shouldn't judge a book by the cover but you can sure buy it because of the cover! 😉
New here. I order from thift books and love.
Hi! Im very happy to find your video early, i love it! please keep doing this, Im an visual artist also trying slow living! GOOD LUCK
Thank you very much! Good luck on slow living as well!
Love your new style! Can’t wait to watch your journey unfold with you!!
Thank you!! ❤️
Lovely
Thrift books for me is the fastest plus options. Bookoutlet was way longer to get plus not a huge selection
I agree, Book Outlet didn't have a great selection but I have found some good books with them.
I shop through Abe Books all the time; they’re like a marketplace/aggregate site so you can shop a bunch of retailers all at once!
I hadn't heard of them. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Love Joanne Fluke! Thank you so much for the reviews!
Thank you! I love her books too! 😁
You should do a bracelet next month for March Madness!!
Your makeup and hair looks so good here! And I might try out Eight Perfect Hours…🤔
Thank you! You should... you can borrow it!
ileo Coyle book the ex-husband's name is pronounced Ma tay oh. Good review of some newer books to me. The Laura Childs series (3) are quite good
Thanks! I'll have to check out Laura Childs!
Very good sharing
I love cozy mysteries and just started on a Cajun Country mystery, "Body on the Bayou." I also ordered Aggie Morton " Peril at Owl Park."
I haven't heard of either of those, I'm going to have to check them out! Hope you enjoy them! 😊
Lovely channel.💗🥰
Thank you!! ❤
Wow. I’ve never heard of the Dice roll TBR sounds fun and random 🤗🥳
I have had a bad experience too where the cover was slashed. I also have received a book that arrived in pieces. Overall, I would agree the three book sellers are very good especially now where we don't want to go out.
I definitely remember the ballerina tree!
It was a pretty cool tree! Mom has it decorated in red and white this year.
Love heading all your childhood traditions!! Maybe glass glue would be a nice small gift for you mom. Also, my family never did wreathes on the windows but plenty of neighbors did and still do!
Hi, just bought Debbie Macomber's Christmas Colouring book. Haven't started it yet. Saw your vlog and decided to join you for the conversation. I'm 65 year young and only remember a few traditions from my childhood. I don't think we opened gifts on Christmas eve, Santa didn't wrap his gifts under the tree and my stocking was hung on my bedroom door handle full of goodies. I remember getting a slinky and trolls with different coloured hair. We always visited family and my mom always had a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Now for my son and daughter, Santa put his gifts in a fancy Christmas glad garbage bag (only found them 1 year, never saw them again). They would lay the empty bag under the tree in hopes that there would be something inside it on Christmas morning. My son always started out sleeping on the couch so he could catch Santa but I always put him in bed so I could get things done. Our stockings are hung on the fireplace and are the first things that we open in the morning. Then probably Santa gifts because they couldn't wait. Breakfast was next because that's what his family did. Which was bagels and tea. We had the next generation video camera with the smaller tapes but a big camera. Turkey was put in the oven before I could start opening gifts. I set the table days before, being already. Oh I let the kids open 1 gift Christmas eve, which was new pj's and I still do it to this day, my son is 27 and my daughter is 23, they seem to enjoy it. They get upset when I say I'm going to stop. We still do little gifts because they can buy anything they actually want, but it's still fun, just the 4 of us. And now girlfriends and boyfriends are entering the picture. Now the turkey goes in (stuffed frozen much easier for me) before the kids are up. We do a lot more Christmas eve with games, drinking, snacks, Christmas movies ( White Christmas my favorite). Wow, I haven't thought about a lot of this for years. Brings back good memories. But sad because my mom and dad and in-laws are gone now. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2022! I hope you have a great one. Julie
Hi Julie! It's so nice to meet you and hear about your lovely family traditions! I love the PJ part! That's so fun. Also the Santa "bag" is cute too! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and happy new year! Also let me know if you like Debbie's coloring book! 😊
@@ashleybishop715 thank you yes I love her book. I found a tutorial on colouring Christmas lights and went through the book and did all the Christmas lights. Lol
Would love to hear a description about all of those Christmas books!
This is wonderful Ashley. Do you read this much each night?
Thank you! ❤ No, this isn't an every night thing. I wish though!
I was laughing also when you started laughing in this video!🤣🤣 but you’re welcome. 😉
Hey I love your videos! Thanks for putting these together. Do you read book or magazines while you’re on the toilet? It came to mind during the video and I was wondering if it’s something you like to do. Keep up the awesome work and I look forward to your future videos
I always wanted to read Outlander might pick it up next year. I read A Good Neighborhood, as part of a book club , and that’s the only reason why I finished it. But I wanted to DNF that book so much. If you want spoilers let me know haha because you are not missing anything. It doesn’t pick up just takes a weird turn. 😒 so don’t feel guilty. That’s because I loved Therese Anne Fowler’s other book A Well-behaved Woman, I really recommend that one, it really embodies a strong minded woman! :)
Hello 👋 my name is Jessica, nice to meet you. Wow! So glad I’ve found your Booktube channel :) I’ve been looking for someone new like what you’re putting out there :) This year I found out more about cozy mysteries :) I would only read Agatha Christie (of course her being cozy is more of a personal opinion haha) New subscriber! 🙌🏻
So nice to meet you Jessica! I love cozy mysteries but I haven't read any Agatha Christie. I might have to pick one up for next year. Do you have any you recommend?
@@ashleybishop715 my absolute favorite is And Then There Were None… But if you want to start with a little more cozy one and get to know her detective Hercule Poirot I recommend The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, or Murder on the Orient Express and her Sleuther Miss Jane Marple I recommend A murder is Announced or A body in the Library :)
@@DearReaders_thisisJess thank you! I'll look into those! ❤
Such a cute video, really enjoyed it :)
Thank you! 😍
Final Girls is going to be so good!!
thanks
You're welcome! ❤
Great video, my new friend!!
Thank you! ❤
Okay okay okay. You sold me… I’ll read it. 😏🧛
Time for a new shelf. 😉
Yes it is!! I need to figure out what I want to get this time.
Team Monica! Such a great book. My best friend is just like Tully. We are 3 decades in!
I was hesitant to buy from better world books, but after seeing your video, I might give it a try. Thanks, Ashley.
I hope you have a great experience with them and get some great priced books! Let me know if you order from them! ❤
@@ashleybishop715 Will do! Thanks so much for the response! :D
Yes! Let’s definitely do a video on that!!
But how is that milk almost gone already?!!🤣
That's what I ask every week! It's gone by Thursday/Friday. 🤷🏼♀️
I think you will end up being right about The Chrysalis… that does look and sound spooky!
Your hair looks so good in this one!
So much romance🤣
It's definitely one of my favorites! 😍
Ooh I want to read this series 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great review. Have a wonderful week
Thank you! I hope you have a nice week as well!
I wish I had more time for reading. Maybe some day when I retire.
I find I get a lot of my reading done by listening to audiobooks on my daily commute. I hope you can find time to read if it brings you joy! 😊
What your opinion
The Witches Of Eastwick 1987 - Jack Nicholson, Cher, Susan Sarandon Movie
Nice
I love it
I would have picked Not a Happy Family Too! And When the Stars Go Dark as the second.
Dang girl, that's a lot of reading. I would definitely have to do books on tape. I don't watch movies either.
