That fruit in Mexico call Guayaba and the tree name is guayabo. When you the delicious make we sei; "me voy a subir al guayabo" Some like this; I'm go up to the guava tree"😂😂😂😂 In Mexico we eat all guava fruit inside and outside when is yellow and soft, the odor is apetecible. So, seriously. What part of your mind told you to make a nearly 18 minute video and then not fire the thing at the end. Did I miss something. Did it not work.

That was very impressive! You can see your dedication with the final product. Only one safety issue I hope you remember with the band saw...drop the guard down very close to your work project. It does several things other than not chopping your fingers off from the top side if an accident hits you from behind....seen that. Next, it was designed to control the blade wiggle for improved accuracy while cutting. Last, with both, safe feelings and closer accurate cuts, you'll see your skill level improve and do less "rasping"...get a small hand planner or a "pull knife" for the longer rasping spots. Good job!

very good with the woodwork, but it needs a lot more rubber. A wider fork will make it more accurate, also, de tension your rubber a little bit, but use 4 pieces for power. you want the ball to clear the pouch way before the rubbers become slack and knock it of balance. Maximum power is the key. I used to use four tubes about 6 inches long, taken from a Hawaiian fishing spear. I had string on both ends of them, and a steel fork, five inch wide. I had brass washers to keep the string from pulling through the leather. I never had a scope or even a sight, but we can hit a 5c (Aussie) size target at 15 meters. Mine was 1200mm draw-length. And it was only very strong people could cock it. My Uncle went through 1000 steel 3/8 nuts when he borrowed it. This was in the 90's when we had to make the entire mechanisms from scratch. put some curve into the shoulder block, to keep it in place. Mine was capped with brass. It doesn't look as lovely, but if you use a taller fork, you can lift the tip for longer shots without it blocking your view of the target. Mine was 4 inches high, and you could lift it the whole four inches to take a shot out to 30 meters with 8mm lead. 50 meters with 3/8 steel nuts. It's also a lot more lethal with the sniper-sling darts, which you can also glue bodkins onto. You can also get fishing darts and a reel.

One of those and my problems on this block will soon be over 😆 ( will it launch stink bombs ) for those special holidays ! ( Golf balls )

I bought my stuff to make my first slingshot a few months ago but kind of chickened out..😂 I even bought a bandsaw and belt sander and everything but question my abilities..haha. Anyway, good vid bro!
