Canonized material is what we know, and Legends material is stories we may love and understand but are not yet part of the timeline as we see it now. I am a huge Fan of legends material, I have an extensive library of comics and books of this material, But if it is not canon, it's not part of the Star Wars timeline! @viewtheworldaroundus if by "legends" you mean "SW untouched by Disney" i.e. EU pre Disney and your view on what's "canon" is dictated by Disney, I agree it is your opinion (synonym for "belief"). It is *my* belief that due to destroying established lore/character traits/motivations, Disney has relinquished the privilege to shepard canon of a universe they don't understand and don't care to try to connect to what came before in a way that doesn't contradict it at best and spit in its face at worst.

I respect your opinion, movie magic based on fantasy as seen through the eyes of the beholder, is perspective, and objectivity doesn't play as much of a role in this scenario. We must remember that Star Wars is holistically made for a younger audience. So, for this conversation let's gauge perspective through the lens of age. I am a 51-year-old man who was first introduced to Star Wars as a 10-year-old boy, to me, at this age, The Empire Strikes Back movie was the most amazing thing I had ever seen up to this point in my young life. But, to my 51-year-old objective self, when I go back and watch this movie now, I see all the things the movie could have been, lackluster lightsaber battles, bad dialog, and I can go on and on as an objective Fan. To my point, I believe we as Fans, and I am not above judgment, I thought Boba Fett was a shit show, but here we are, it is getting a season 2, and I understand why due to its content and how it moves the story forward holistically. So, in some cases, I believe we as Fans are watching these shows from the wrong perspective lens, I tend to watch Star Wars for the lore, and the story, and through the perspective lens of a 10-year-old boy who first fell in love with the excitement of Star Wars, just some of my thoughts, thanks for the engagement! You yourself up above said you think most fans are looking through the wrong lens. Even though shows like this are for kids, even kids deserve good well written content. If fans don't rise up against things that Disney is clearly doing wrong, then how can we expect it to get any better? Your "lens" argument on this just doesn't make too much sense to me. like, I get it, but at the same time it just doesn't work that way. What age do you think 50 year old star wars fans went in as when they first went to theaters for Episode 7? They didn't go as a 50 yr old, they went as a kid. They hoped star wars would still be star wars, and were very disappointed to see that that wasn't the case any longer. It is now Disney star wars. Their star wars will forever be in the past only. It's not about the perspective of lens, it's the fact that this disney star wars content isn't for star wars fans. It's for a new generation. A generation of brainwashed woked-up kids. Your perspective on this just seems so passive that it's like you don't care about what you claim to be a fan of. This show being for younger kids doesn't justify its terrible writing, etc. Enjoying any star wars content for what it is is one thing, but saying the bad writing is actually good and calling it an opinion without backup makes absolutely no sense.

This is a good point. I realize a lot of people who liked this series and other's that were objectively bad, don't really know what makes a show or movie bad. The real 'magic' behind movies is the ways it manipulates our feelings, our expectations and everything. It has to set us up, and if the director and writers aren't good with it, they may create situations that feel fake or forced, which this show really suffers from. This show gave me so many mixed signals, I literally had no idea who was capable of what. Mae constantly goes from wanting to kill EVERYONE and to turn herself in. Osha seems like she wants to be good, and since the show lies to us, the expectations are way off! I don't like Mae or Osha because I have no idea where they stand! Do they have BPD, is this representing the BPD folks? They completely fucked up with Sol. They tried really hard to show that he had good intentions and we believed it, we liked him because of it, but then it feels like a forced twist! I think what was shown to us was compelling enough to suggest that the girls were probably in danger. It's just, people like me who things about things below the surface, these things stick out like a sore thumb, and there are plenty of others that are like this, and not everyone is like that. Some people are happy staying on the surface level and seeing the flashing lights and colors! Just don't gaslight us who have the capability of seeing the glaring flaws.

@@tirirana the force can tell but force users cant. the jedi/sith perceive mae and osha as the same person if they try and sense them through the force. this is why sol could never tell osha and mae apart. and why he kept getting duped on the ship. at first we thought he was dumb af and the writing was bad about that until it was explained they were the same person. ngl this is actually the least confusing thing about the show. much more inconsistencies to nitpick

Vader, probably the most powerful sith ever to have existed, managed it, but it almost killed him in the process. We saw the crystal change colour, but we didn't see the process of bleeding it, as described in the lore. We saw Plagueis, yes but just as a face hiding in the shadows. In the lore, Plagueis hid in plain sight. It seems like you aren't really that familiar with Star Wars lore. The show teases with only the most simplistic view of things., getting the lore wrong every time. But I am sure series 2 will fix all that, right ?

Agreed Leathalbrew 7, the Qimir character has to be one of the better evil Sith's that I have seen in awhile, almost had a horror vibe to Him, I am a Fan I loved this character!

Yes, it was 6 Billon, an almost unimaginable amount of people that died in His name! I love the scene in Dune part 2, where Stilgar asks Lady Jessica to be there Bene Gesserit Reverend Mother and He explains that the water in this reserve is all from their dead. The expression of emotion she showed toward what She had just learned was breathtaking, I felt that too!! The Books are good and this newest iteration of the first book has been done Very very well, I am a Fan!!

I would recommend you breed shrimp in a smaller tank and move the shrimp you breed to your larger tank if that's the setup you have. I personally have only bred brine shrimp for feeding angelfish babies and have plans of breeding brine shrimp again for the cardinal tetras I am going to breed in the future.
