MWI War Council: Conflict Termination & Withdrawal - Lessons for the Future
The Modern War Institute at West Point and the New Lines Institute are honored to host a multidisciplinary panel to discuss the political and military challenges associated with conflict termination and withdrawal. No military strategy is complete without a plan for winning the peace. As recent American operations have shown, this can be one of the most difficult aspects of war with permanent occupation often untenable while early departure risks destabilization or creates a power vacuum. Topics of discussion will include the status of armed groups and latent conflict in the Sahel, the termination of Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq, international intervention and conflict termination in Syria, and Russian withdrawal in the Ukraine War. Panelist remarks will be followed with a period of question and answer with the audience.

With a voice like yours you should not be lecturing. Your narrative of what is happening in Ukraine is so out of touch with reality that you have not prepared your listeners(in this case American troops) to be properly prepared for war. Your assessment of the Russian capabilities has been proved wrong.

He sounds like a school girl telling a story. It sounds fantastical and random. The story of the capture is great, the story telling needs work. The storytelling is very emblematic of today’s world…It’s my world and you’re living in it. It’s interesting to see how people have changed psychologically over time. If this was a WW2 era story and storyteller, there would be more humility. Less ego centrism. That person would tell the story with more focus on the story and less about their own personal perspectives. In short, it would be more “mature”. People today, when they have their 15 minutes of fame, are fully prepared for their “press conference”. There is a raw glee at being the center of attention. Maybe I’m old school, but I prefer straightforward storytelling with humility and less stand up comedian. Privately, I would make my own assessment how “cool” the story was. I don’t need amplifying and hype to understand whether the story is dramatic or not.

Organized stalking and harassment is necessary to evoke potentials, which are monitored remotely. Organized stalking and harassment targets get to enjoy NO life, no quality of life, and psychosocial torture indefinitely, treated as suspects of crimes WITHOUT HAVING DONE A THING. Organized STALKING (a CRIME) EXISTS, AND IS A GROWING EPIDEMIC. WHY? Not because there are more crazy people than ever before, but because of loosened morality and ethics of greedy scientists, who don't care about the harm they do, for the gains they get from the research. Organized stalking and harassment targets are INVOLUNTARY HUMAN LAB RATS, WHO LOSE OUR LIVES TO THE DELIBERATE HIJACKING OF OUR LIVES, AND BRAINS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF STUDY, AT THE EXCLUSION OF OUR LIVES. ORGANIZED STALKING AND HARASSMENT IS A HUMAN RIGHTS CRIME.

What a bunch of crap. Women should not be in the infantry whether it’s an 11b in the army or an 03 11 in the Marine Corps. They should not be in the Rangers or anything like that. The amount of strings that had to be pulled to get these women through is ridiculous and it’s all optics. It’s all political -it’s crap, and we need to stop letting it happen. Being in the infantry is a different world it’s all about logistics, even if you found women that could truly hang they’re still women and it’s something extra that needs to be considered that has to be on a troop leaders mind when he has enough to worry about. Sorry there are some things in life you can’t do.

I love His story. My Paternal Grandparents immigrated from different parts of Italy and met North of San Francisco after the Earthquake. My Grandfather was a decorated Italian Soldier who had fought at Adwa in 1896 and escaped capture there. He and My Grandmother raised a family of seven girls and five boys. Three of the Boys served in WW2 one of them was a very young combat engineer in the 289th Regiment of the 75th Infantry Division when He first saw action at Grandmenil Belgium on Christmas Eve 1944. After VE day He purchased brass plaque’s and ash trays made out of melted down artillery shells . One of them commemorates the fight for Bastogne showing a German asking for the surrender of the American’s. They stand like giants among building’s that represent Bastogne with supply parachutes falling and the answer Nuts .

Interesting lecture. I found this while doing cognitive warfare research. He talks about an ability to create false memories. In Iowa all that talent brings us, thanks to the people involved, things like false memoriees of canine rape, murder, rebellion, and seeing a deepfake of your friends killing your family members, them claiming it, people making false confessions, and you'd have the appearance of guilt if ever questioned. This lecture also gets into brain to brain communications and remote control over the body, although it only mentions controlling animal movement. This reminded me of the guardian angel I feel guiding my hand when taking videos of the torture devices. Pardon the interruption. Wait, did I really type that? Did you really want that? The people in control really leave it up to god to save them because when the truth comes out all I can think of is our society has made it clear we do not accept sexual predators, we stand up to bullies, and we hate terrorism. It is hard. Sometimes they do things like trying to silence victims via cybercrime including stufff like blocking access to legal directory websites, deleting emails, deleting notes, altering notes, deleting appointment reminders, changing location data (ambush prep), blocking emails, altering evidence, blocking access to police report filing systems, blocking calls, altering bank account data, destroying records, destroying property. It seems they will go to any length to make you upset. Because that's what they want. Some bullies want to lock you up and have you looking so guilty the only chances you had in life get thrown away with the key. They imprison you in a schizo reality, by their design, that has you relying on false data to make your decisions. Using tools and capabilities described in the lecture gives its users a technological advantage that when used in an advasarial manner against an unsuspecting population accords the capability of compelte degradation. For what? Probably for some shit you didn't do, some people you didn't screw, some rule you wish you knew. Awesome video games to come from it when they stop letting murder by suicide top the list of things that really needed developed. Pardon the interruption. I just had to share.
