How much overhang outside the body outline do you use? Is there a formula to figure it, im working on replicating some old bodiesand have been puzzling over that

Try grinding out a shallow V and using cold bond or JB Weld over 1 oz. fibreglass cloth for the RC plane guys.

You could also call those Pointer (Pontiac) bodies "Tin Indians" and a few more people might be able to figure out what they are.

Using E6000 for attaching wings, spoilers, air dams etc is what I have used for decades (I started racing in 1984) and even glue my wings for my dirt Sprint Car together and have had less trouble than when I tried to use mini nuts and screws both the 4-40 nylon and when we first started with dirt oval Sprint Cars 2 mm, size machine screws and nuts.

The first of the Super Speedway cars were brought out by the Team Associated drivers and they cut the wide bodies in half and over lapped them to get them narrow enough. Also I ran one of the Eastern Modified bodies on a two wheel drive RC10 and also on a four wheel drive Schumacher Cat for dirt oval. The two wheel drive car won a few races before returning to the sprint car bodies and wings, the four wheel drive one wasn't tough enough against stock car bodies so I went back to a Camaro body and finished second behind the Dominators too many times to even keep track of before buying one of own and won about everything race I didn't get taken out of until the tracks we were racing on got tired of new track records every week or so and being dominated by the Dominators and the SRP-1's and outlawed any car without a gear reduction in the drive train.

I'm really happy with the Thunderbird body (sold as an 87-88) but it's identical to the full size 85-86 five star body we raced on our Pro4 mini stock.. But I do have a couple of questions about some different molds, Bolink did make a Outlaw Pro stock dirt oval body that had an offset roof that was a smoothly molded slightly rounded roof. I am really curious about if you have discovered a 1/10th scale Camaro body that looks like the 1/12th body in this video. I remember having that body and a 1/12th ASA style Camaro short track pavement oval body and a true outlaw 1/12th slab sided Thunderbird body. There has been some local interest in the T-Bird body I bought, I found it in an old photo of my shop and at the time Bolink was selling it as an ASA Thunderbird body. Looking forward to some more releases. I think there could be some interest in the '34 Hot Rod body and the original 1/10th scale sprint car wing as a vintage modified or Super Modified class body.
