Canada has its own way like the rest of the world. Although that’s one of the many complaints amongst my friends here. There’s pros and cons everywhere. I ❤ Canada and appreciates the Philippines too. Nothing is perfect. And that’s okay. 😊🇨🇦

Some other places has high number of international students that actually has money with them and are able to buy properties in cash. I have a friend who did it. She bought a house while we are a student cash for 1M cad here in BC. She is with her fam and husband is open work permit. If you are a worker, you can buy a house. Many in Vancouver as well, from Hong Kong bought properties and even luxury cars as students or with their partner. So definitely intl drives up prices. If Canada want immigrants, pinoys are actually the best. Di agad nakakabili ng bahay, kahit anong jobs kinukuha, nag ddouble job, maraming nasa health care field, napasok sa school (competitive pa nga, marami ang nasa dean's list), maayos mag english with lesser accent, laging naliligo di nangangamoy 😂, di nag rarally, lagi lang masaya, welcoming, people pleaser 😂. Downside lang sa atin, maingay tayo. Hahaha. Karaoke or pag nasa labas ang dadaldal.

Part of the process in applying for the student permit is writing what we call the Statement of purpose. Unless you have dual intent which is to stay in Canada after graduation, international students are expected to go back to their home country after studies. Still, that doesnt give them the right to demand anything from the government. Also, (sorry po) but sometimes, it is the student’s fault for not doing proper research, naniniwala sa mga pangako ng agencies and I totally agree sa mga sinabi ng ibang nainterview na naging greedy ang mga agency. They’re all about making money and giving false hopes. One thing is for sure, nothing is guaranteed and anyone who is on temporary status - international students and temporary workers alike have no right to demand to extend their stay if the contract is over. If you wish to stay and gain permanent residency, idaan sa tamang process. Protesting is definitely not it though.

As an International student myself, I am well aware na hindi guaranteed ang permanent residency so my advice to my fellow international student and aspiring students, plan ahead, set proper expectations and wag lang magrely sa iisang option lang. Being liberated is not a bad thing. And parents have to know that a child’s growth is always a mix of nurture and nature. So they should take responsibility for how they bring their child up while ensuring that the child’s environment will help them flourish. We cannot expect a child to grow up the same way we did when there are so many different factors that differ from how, when, and where we were raised. We brought them here. We have to realize and appreciate that having them exposed to more diverse perspectives and trained to think critically instead of simply following the herd mentality is a gift.

If you finished your studies you go back to your home country ganon lang kasimple. And sorry but students don't have the right to demand to have or be granted PR Status
