I have two Bombays. Brother, and sister, born 4 min. apart. They adopted me at 7 months old from the local shelter. They are now, 2 1/2 years old, healthy, and happy. (indoor only). They even have their own FB page. I would literally hurt someone, if they ever disrespected my mini panthers!

I remember that I did get a black cat (looked most likely a Bombay or Domestic Shorthair) when she was pregnant, and afterwards, we had to return 4 kittens while she and another kitten (which was the most unique, since it was grey while the other kittens were black, some having white spots) stayed. However, after her spaying and her kittens growing up, she seemed to be aggressive. One day, she unexpectedly bit me when I pet her back (she still does so today, but it's been going on for almost 10 years). And later, she hissed at people who pet her in ways she didn't like. Overall, she is basically an introvert cat, as she always sleeps in areas where my family usually doesn't spend time at (while the grey cat sleeps anywhere he feels good at). Up to today, I have gotten used to knowing when and where she is fine with being pet or held. If she is a Bombay cat, I would assume that her previous owners were very ignorant of her, and she didn't have proper attention from her before she was somehow abandoned and then sent to a shelter while pregnant. This has, sadly, discouraged my family from approaching her, meaning that if she doesn't correct her attitude (which probably won't happen at all), she'll still have this problem.

My bombay literally has two personalities.. Nice and sweet during the day, feral nutjob at night...😐

Caracal Caracal. It is a Turkish name. From Termessos Mountain, Antalya. Cara= Black and cal: Ear. Black ear= In Turkish: Karakulak. If you have it trapped in the house and he doesn't attack you, it has lost his personality and is no longer a true Caracal.

Hey friend, don't get me wrong, I'm a Turk and it's wrong to make such a video about Van cats. The fact that they don't like to hug and aren't active doesn't make them any different from other cats. Other cats are also active and don't like to hug.

Ha! So true. We had a himalayan named Sassy (named after Homeward Bound kitty) who lived to almost 19. She was very affectionate but in her younger years, would snap with a burst of energy at a moments notice. This meant you might get a quick snipe if you were just cuddinly previously. She was very much royalty in every sense of the word, and yes, she was treated as such. Good memories.

I have a small female calico sphynx and she’s EXTREMELY affectionate. She’s 100% bonded to me and my wife is the second human. She’s actually laying on me and licking me as I type this.. but she sleeps in bed as my little spoon every single night and actively seeks me out wherever I am in the house to get love, warmth, and snuggles. Maybe I just got lucky but hard disagree about them not being as affectionate. I’ve had a Maine coon boy and a big orange boy who were lovebugs and she outshines them both. I’m also going to be an absolute wreck when she goes, but she’s 2 so hopefully not for a long time.

My Turkish Van is lazy as hell. . .

For all these signs, these all are for MOST cats. I don't own any maine coons but I've had about 9ish cats total and I've found it depends on the personalities. From also cats I've visited and heard about, these are rarely true for only female coons. Most of these are for BOTH maine coon genders. As I've said, many sources like other CZcams videos, ChatGPT, common media. Cats are prone to all of these problems, and very commonly, not for just females maine coons I've I said before.
