Pigface Toronto May 1, 1991 Suck
Live performance of Suck from Toronto 1991 on the first leg of the Gub tour. As rough as the first album was, the live sets were pretty great. There were so many people on stage that it's tough to keep track, but this iteration of Pigface included:
Ogre
Martin Atkins
Bill Rieflin
William Tucker
Chris Connelly
Paul Raven
Lee Popa
and many others

Until someone manages to share any other full shows from 1984, this is the only video footage out there of many of these songs so it will have to do. Setlist: Intro All Day Do You Even Like It? Pigface playing This Edge Of Midnight from Chris Connelly's first solo record. This is from the Chicago show on the first Pigface tour from the spring of 1991 at the Cabaret Metro.
I went to this show. I still have the Wax Trax poster I stole off the wall.😅 It didn't start till like 1am.what a night I can't believe I get to enjoy it again
Only 3 tracks from With Sympathy. Truly nearing the end of that STUNNING era. Looove the Wax Trax material too .... "Revenge" sounds soooooo BEAUTIFUL xoxoxo Love how much the crowd are going off to Work For Love!!!! ... Nice to see Here We Go live!!! * WOW * How AMAZING that I see Al's cover of Fad Gadget's RICKY'S HAND!!!! One of my favourite ever tracks!!!!!!! It's frickin AMAZING seeing. and hearing their cover, thank you so much for this phenomenal slice of HISTORY!!!!
Wow. I was at this show. What club was it the El Macombo or Lee's Place? I travelled two hours from Kingston to see this. I think Silverfish opened.
Ministry is a Mindfkd unpredictable Cring of GF.YOURSELF!! Wrapped up in a warm greeting of Welcome Home Family... But..idkWTF!! That was??? Never heard that before. 😳

BOLO....i like his English accent ..... that he had back then....

Such an underrated band.
I love 16Volt. Wisdom was a good record with Motorskill and Head Of Stone being stand out tracks. Skin was a major step up. Skin, Perfectly Fake, and Uplift were the best. I love their covers of Turning Japanese and Girl You’ll Be A Woman Soon. I will stand on my hill when I say that LetDownCrush was their best album. It’s so heavy and sinister I love it.
LDC is fucking amazing but supercoolnothing will always be my fav
This is kinda like a Ministry (80s) Wax Trax Singles tour with 3 With Sympathy tracks added. Notice that there is about a full album’s amount of material in this set beyond the With Sympathy songs.
Fabio oh Fabio
Are we literally looking at the screen of a TV? What crap is this?
Dump that sh!t proper, analog to digital, edit out the crap audio from mistracking, have shame in posting crap, take pride in doing good work
Do that shit yourself.
@@JaneDoe-em5zn be happy this shit is even online
No, this video is almost 40 years old as of today, probably VHS or beta tape shot on a home quality video recorder inside of a city (my hometown) nightclub. This video & audio quality is basically what I would expect for a 1984 nightclub concert video. I’m just happy that it survived long enough to surface on CZcams years later. Doing what you suggest might improve it a little bit but probably not much. If you own this video then go ahead.
@@modifidious EXACTLY! ... People are so rude
is there a studio version of this extended, better arrangement of revenge?
Yes. czcams.com/video/Rh5_VCrE7G0/video.html&ab_channel=SynthetikFilms
Yes. It's tonight we murder
Yes revenge 12’ remix
so what happened to this band anyway?
Drummer worked with Brittney spears another guy played for concrete blonde that's about it
the hair tells you he's on drugs now
And a big shout out to Kenny Smith for being there and involved in the New Wave/Punk era. When we first met him when he was working the door at O’Banions, we knew he would make his mark. And we followed him to every opening of his dozen clubs/bars.
Was there even when the show was nearly 2 hours late. Did enjoy Exit (original on Wells St) when they had the stage open for bands. Years later they stuck a pool table in that area and a few years they had built a Thunderdome over the dance floor. Will have flashbacks to the black shag carpeting on the hallway walls. Good Times....miss the crazy boys...RIP “Mad Dog”.....”Johnny Chainsaw”....and the guy that created his own cut up Tshirts and would never stop dancing or asking for handouts. This bar even held 2 booze cruises. I think one with Effigies playing (Earl rocks) but were working on Naked Raygun for the 3rd..but never happened.
Rip bill reiflin
RIP Bill
Damn!!!...i had no idea he died 2 days ago😔. Thats sux
Damn, Al looks a lot like Nivek Ogre here. Interesting and obscure phase of the band, between With Sympathy and Twitch, that, sadly, was not really documented very well. All Day is kind of the essence of this period. It's a period that retained the pop-sensibilities and accessible sound of With Sympathy but with a much darker edge and increased emphasis on electronic percussion.
The intro is actually the early version of Hizbollah.
I was there! Thanks for sharing
12:23 "Cold life" live! Awesome bass tune.
Ministry recently performed Everyday is Halloween at a show on December 20th 2018. interesting that these two shows are 34 years apart to the date.
54:05 Ricky's Hands (Fad Gadget) cover
30:58 Everyday is Halloween
The BEST Ministry.
Caught this show Feb 92 at the Metro
Punk rock with synth bass. Peace Christo
The band that turned reconstriction records upside down. Peace christo ps hi Jedi chase!
cannibal song written in 81 and burning inside in 79? source?
@@Ytrearneindre my words are true.
@@user-lo6vw8kv4eok 😅
Because they knew 10 years later that they would release a great album called The Mind and wanted to save Cannibal song and Burning Inside for that album. Meanwhile they chose to test Hizbohlah 4 years early on a live audience to see if it is good enough to release on one of their main studios albums. The experiment worked.
That first song isn't Filament. It's Chemical Halo, and I'm WAAAAAY out of key. It's also not the KMFDM tour as that's Cadigan drumming and Servo was drumming for us for the KMFDM tour. This was before that, and before the Zombie tour too. Ancient. I remember rolling around amongst people's feet at the end of Summer Of Hate and they couldn't have cared less. Hilarious. I wrapped mic cord all around them and yanked and almost pulled three of them down. Good times.
"Wow", I thought. "What was wrong with me to confuse Filament and Chemical Halo". Turns out that I uploaded the info for a completely different show. The big banner that says "Pussycat Theatre" should have also tipped me off. Oops. All corrected now. This was from one of the 1993 shows with Skrew. Sadly the audio is pretty rough, but live Chemlab videos are so hard to come by that I'm still just happy to have it.
Hey Jared, just got into your Chemlab stuff and hope there is more coming!
@@bisquitodoom I have one of the rarest Lab shows - Fifth Column in DC. Only maybe five people showed and Jared came down in a dancers' cage with the mic cutting in and out. Lovely though! Another show with Skrew trying to fit on a small stage with like ten guitars. Tape is crazy overloaded but caught both sets. Under a television sky.
That's the show where I got my Fuck Art shirt, though I had seen them at the 930 at least 3 other times!
Hey. I mentioned another show down the comments. Do you remember that, J? There was zero advertising. You came down in a cage wearing a big floppy hat, screamed FUCK because sound was fucking up. We were waiting for you though. Like always.
Best years of MINISTRY !
Exacto, coincido, después Derraparon para la Scheisse!
Beginnings of transition from With Sympathy to Twitch seen here
Yes, hizbollah (intro) was used 4 years later in LORAH.
I’m guessing that this Ministry tour of late 1984 is the last time they ever performed anything from With Sympathy, albeit just 3 songs on this set list. BTW I’m a Chicago native who has been to EXIT so this is great to see! I was 14 years old during this show and didn’t get to go :(
I guess you're right. A bit of a shame the uncle has become so detest by the WS album, it's full of songs that performed like in 1984 could have had a much longer run in the Ministry setlists. I think the quality of the WS album easily beats quite everything Ministry has made since the years 2000...
I'm trying to figure out where at Exit they set up.
@@CZcamsDogSauce My guess is Upstairs at Exit, unless the venue configuration was different back then.

They just played Revenge live. Amazing, isn't it? It sounds good. They finally did it.
(Everyday Is) Halloween is a work of art on this tape. What an epic tune.
whoa amazing find
Intro = "Hizbollah"
What a setlist. Wish I could time travel and be there for this.
Hey there, thanks again for the upload. The setlist is incorrect, I've made a correct one here: www.setlist.fm/setlist/chemlab/1994/the-edge-palo-alto-ca-63f99627.html (Not sure if the Intro isn't some kind of Suture, though)
pigface were at the top of their game then..
well if you didn't go to the 25 year pigface reunion show they still are :)
but yea this tour was phenomenal
I was at this show ! awesome
Amen!!!
I have been a huge CC fan for almost 20 years. I never had a chance to see him doing any of his solo stuff live and electric. Did have a chance to see him and William Tucker to an aucoustic set in '94 that became Songs for Swinging Junkies. It's funny, you can place the time CC did anything 90-95 from the length of his dreads. They were waist lengnth for SFSJ. It's also good to finally have a reference for "Wrong fuckin' century darlin' " But I don't remeber any clips from this on Glitch
Ooh. These shots are pieced into 'glitch' but never the full track. I always loved this song, much better live. "Wrong fucking century darling" is also sampled on "Welcome to Mexico...ASSHOLE!" to hilarious effect. The context is finally realized!
