What is the current state of these two G12s?
Veldig glad for at det ble video på dette her
@palsw What Year Is Your ATV?
that's a 1994 Polaris 400L
He put on a great show for you!
Most brutal sounding locomotive ever built, can't have enough of it!!!
Very beautiful video...
Bravo momci, entuziazam na prvom mestu.
I suspect it would help.
Do u need a reason?
Same design, different engines. 12 vs 8 cylinders, probably different generator and traction motors also. Weight and length differens? The G12 was first. G12 7707 demonstrator built in 1953-54, preserved at Swedish State Railway museum, Gävle. Many movies here on CZcams with her.
On my 2012 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO the break on the handle bar has a wedge thing for when you pull the break you can lock the break in place. It may of change over years.
Det toget er nå borte fra sør varanger nå har vi fått et nytt
hva mener du med det?
all of u are wrong if u look closely that is a tow truck. flat bed
Send me a photo.
I have the exact same ATV, we have a snow plow for it with a manual lift. i have the plow mounted, but CANNOT figure out how to mount the manual lift, no directions came with it. the lift link im guessing mounts to the front of the atv, but cant figure out HOW?! the same goes for the lift handle with a bracket attached. any ideas?
I reckon a naturally aspirated EMD V12 is one of the best sounding engine of all time. Great show.
DE100 is owned by South-Varanger Museum.
What does Sydvaranger plan to do with this locomotive, since that new Vossloh arrived?
Beautiful! Plow Polaris plow.
Was this locomotive built to a standard G8 design because have a look at photos of "Victorian Railways flat top T class". You will be surprised at the similarities!
fornøyd med atv'en, lurer på å kjøpe en lik
@Spywell OK I see, now I understand you :-) Ofcourse by tuning the engine that much, it will not last as long as a original. But I think your having a lot more fun on the ATV the time the engine's working, with 60-80 hp! :-)
@narvik01 The 400 2 stroke only makes 38hp! If it wasn't reliable it would be a garbage motor, sure it was really fast when it came out but that 2t is capable of much more. It only cost me $300 to take my 400 from 38hp to 60hp and it's easily capable of going into the 80's. Feel free to check out my 400 on my profile. I slaughtered a trx400 operated by a 100Ib kid on my 1993 400 Trail Boss 4x4 with two adult riders lol
@Spywell This ATV is from 94, and as far I know, it has the original engine in it. And the engine seems to bee the most reliable part on this thing! Allways starts right up! and if the battery is dead, one or two pulls at the recoil starter, and the engine is running! The electric system and the gearbox is the problem now...
@94Nickh Never a problem with starting this in the winter! It has both electric starter and recoil
@popinfresh9000 WOW that's terribly unreliable, what bike is it? I have never heard of anyone having to rebuild that often with a 4 stroke, hell my factory top end on my 400 polaris lasted nearly 10 years and was STILL going when we pulled the top end due to low compression. It didn't have a skirt on the intake side anymore and still ran lol. My new top end siezed >30hrs because I put a siezeco in it and my gf kept jumping on it and never allowed it to warm up whenever I wasn't around. :(
The railway is in use again! Syd-Varanger A/S opened its produce again in 2009-2010 YEY! I can watch the train pass by like 10 times pr day xD
Great vid! Funny to see the old traxcavator design with the turning tire in the back
thats not a ambulance.. its a truck plowing the main road
So Pon is also the Cat importer for Norway ? Ben Pon started importing Volkswagens to Holland in 1947 and he did good business ;-)
Thats quite old... In Holland, the first 4 wheel steered loader was built around 1965... before that, they were built around a Fordson Major skid unit...
1965
nice. i didnt know Cat also built these rear wheel steered loaders. never seen one in real life. How old is it ?
LOL you should get a 4-stroke, as I love 2-strokes to operate that plow you would have to be in LOW and thats high RPM's on an engine that goes through top ends because of the High RPM's. Just saying, 4 stroke is better than a new top-end every season. Other than that I have the exact same bike and I slaughter Honda 400EX's with it. 2 Stroke FTW!
Desverre. Har bare vært der oppe den ene gangen.

Nice video! We want the train to reach whole North and be able to 'train' from Trondheim to Tromso and then on to Kirkenes!

Yes, they are both type 21 locomotives.

Der er vi enige.
Stakkars, gamle skramle kassa... hakke starte på 4 år... må jo ha piska den i gir xD
Yes. PonCat have new parts.
Hej, that's good. I saw the tracks there in Kirkenes and wondered whether there would run something. Good to see that there is still a hope. Keep on fighting!
