Is it lexan? (Polycarbonate?) If so yes you paint the inside.

We've never tried lighting yet But we've done 2 Body's like this one with sky blue & black that is the Closest we've came to doing lightning & that's my 2 Is favorite colors we will give lighting a go

very Alsome job to help protect the body instead of tape you can USE Dry wall type the sticky kind yellow in color cut to fit the inside body then after thats done use GOOSHOO to cover the drywall tape and let dry it dries very quick it helps to save the body and not much more heavy eather just thought id shure that with you

Why do you gorilla tape the inside after painting is done?
It makes the body stronger. Makes it stiff to resist cracking the paint and or body itself while bashin!
