a 2020 Dodge Challenger pull out of a side street only to strike a deer a little ways down the road. 3 deer ran across the street but the second was hit and rolled up and over the car, then jumped up and ran off. other than maybe needing to change their fruit of a looms I believe the driver is ok.

    Okay guys, I need help with from someone who has more knowledge on these bikes than I do. I have an 88 without the valves on the caps. Does this mean that for this particular year, they did not have air in the forks? If they do have air….how do you fill it back up once you make the change or oil or spring etc.?

      @caseyb.894 Před 2 měsíci

      To my knowledge if you don't have the air valves on the caps you don't have to worry about adding air because it don't use air. Some models (the interstate model) are simple systems that don't require air. On mine (an SE ) it has air ride front and rear. Although I know some prefer to remove the air ride for a simpler suspension setup. I like the air ride and am looking to upgrade my rear system to full air ride, removing the stock rear spring suspension. You will however, have to remove the caps to add the oil thought.

    I recently acquired a 95 GL1500SE and found a few things loose or missing when putting new tires on. So, I'm doing fork springs and oil today. I've done this job on other bikes without fairings. Found your video helpful for future oil changes.

      I glad my video is helpful, that was the point because I struggled to find anything like it on CZcams, so I decided to make one to help others.

    Ive been driving semi for 30yrs. Pisses me off how people drive. And thats everywhere in America. Was never as bad in the 80's and 90's cause people had more respect. Nashville drivers are the worst. I have 2 pet peevs. Stay the hell oit of the left lane. And when you make turn you turn right into the right lane and left into the left lane. Then if you want to get over make a lane change. Why? Cause if your in an intersection and the driver on the opposite side is trying to turn say left he goes into left lane and you turn right into right lane. Not! Most sheep, zombies turn right into the left lane and and left into the right lane. WHY?! ignorance. And you can get ticketed gor improper lane usage. Cant tell you how many times I've almost been hit on my '93 Wing by clueless, selfish zombies. I wont even call them drivers because they shouldnt be driving. Its only a matter of time b4 the government puts governors on all vehicles because people cant slow down and you wont be able to speed. I like to go fast too at times but theres a time and a place. Another peev is merging cars on highways and interstates. They wait till the last second to look over and see a semi bout to run them over. Look when getting on the roadway your supposed to yield to traffic not the other way around! Alotta times the semi cant get over to be curtious and slamming on the brakes gets old. I can get my rig up to the speed limit fully loaded to safely merge but most people cant get there lil cars up to speed. Oh and love when they go blowing by flipping you off doing 100mph. My take is that 80% of people have no business driving.

      I agree with you 100%, honestly I think the government needs to mandate that there is some video device on every 4 wheeler that limits it to the posted speed limit. The gas pedal becomes an on off switch but that will at least slow the cagers down. Then again you know someone will develop a hack to override that feature. My philosophy is just because you have all that power, doesn't mean you should use it!

    What is that button that the brake caliper push inside the fork, just up the drain bolt? I saw you pushing the caliper against it. I checked that on my forks, but is very stiff to go in.

      @caseyb.894 Před 11 měsíci

      Sorry I just noticed your post. It is an anti dive device built into the forks. They are stiff but they should move some just by pressing them. If there too stiff or too lose they may need to be rebuilt.

    After doing this did you notice a difference in ride quality?

    • @caseyb.894
      @caseyb.894 Před 11 měsíci

      Yes most definitely a much smoother ride. I have noticed that having proper air pressure in the forks that's equal makes a big difference too. I usually have about 3 psi in each and I weight 220 lbs. Makes handling at slow speeds (below 15 mph) easier too.

      This is a slow speed step by step instruction for people that may have never changed the fork oil. Besides that's what the slider is for for more advanced individuals.

    Unfortunately, there seem to be a lot of bad impatient divers in this area where I live. Everyone is in a hurry to get nowhere, cutting others off, pulling out in front of oncoming traffic. Failing to yield, and the list goes on. I will be posting a lot more videos but these are just the morons I've encountered.
