I am getting 720p instead of 1080p when i connect my A7c, is it normal ?
How are you connecting it exactly? We don't control the video coming in except with NDI HX it's 1080p 30fps max, primarily only the output settings from the Mevo ecosystem is controlled.
I am using it as webcam connected to my ipad
IRL streamer. With the mevo app, does it still need to be the active app on the phone? or are you able to open other apps now and mevo not shut down?
This has never been a Mevo limitation, but rather an iOS limitation. If you are using iPadOS you can get away with it being in the background or anyone using an Android.

Hello, I would be interested in learning more about how you use the Mevo for graduations. I am working on my college graduation in a small movie cinema theatre and would like to use the mevo to live stream and record the commencement.
This looks simple enough but I don't get the same results. I have a USBC cable from USBC A output going directly into my iPad Air 13" M2 and nothing pops up in Webcam & UVC inputs. It does work in Zoom so I know the connection and cable is correct. Am I missing something?

Hi Joseph at our small church we are using three Mevo Start cameras and a iPad but I want to take the feed from our sound board to the mevo recording. We are using a iphone as the main microphone now but I would like your thoughts on what would be our best option

I believe it's the iPad Air from 2022 - I believe it was the first M1 iPad Air and that's why I purchased it as the M series iPads have fantastic processing power. -Joseph

@@Karol.M Mevo Multicam is designed for mobile only, we have no plans to making this available for desktop regardless if they are M series computers.
They shuda sent this out to tech reviewers such a silent launch for such an incredible product. i only found out about it today!
We had a couple dozen creators but thanks for the feedback, I don't suspect we will send it to more creators as we are already seeing great demand and interest but I am glad you found us anyway :)

Hi there, aperture is only for the Mevo Core as it has the ability to use various lenses. Mevo Start is fixed lens, fixed focus.

Mevo go allows you to turn your iPhone into an NDI device
Hi there, Mevo Go can't be used as an NDI device. It doesn't use NDI at all when transporting video or audio.

3 Mevo's at $400 = $1200 1 iPad at $300 3 external batteries at $50 + $150 Live Stream in a dead zone at a local high school - priceless
Deadzones are nothing to mess with unfortunately :/
You don’t need external batteries with the Mevo’s 6 hour battery life. Also you can use just 1 camera behind home plate. And if you run into a dead zone which is rare but yes still happens occasionally, you can still capture a high definition recording.

You can use any NDI HX camera you want or a mobile device even :)

6 hour battery life for streaming and you can add it to OBS or any desktop software using either webcam mode, SRT or NDI.
What brand and model fence mount are you using?

Yes of course, Mevo Start and Mevo Core both have 6 hr batteries. You can absolutely run via Ethernet with an adapter or via wifi. Totally your choice :)
