Thanks for not talking crap about this little backhoe! She's done you more then $2000 worth of work! Glad this turned out to be a positive review of this little backhoe! I love these little things!
@@DOWNTOWN_AUDIO yea this has saved me from using a shovel! I also love it
How long was your old pool used? The metals look quite rusted. How did it get so many punctures?
@@ck1416 we used it for 3 years and left it up during the cold South Dakota winter. I THINK all holes came from the last winter I decided to take it down, fold it up and store it. I think all holes came from it being folded up as after 3 years in the sun and chlorine made the pool thinner and less soft…. Idk just what I think. The new ones is never coming down for winter!
I think the metal is covered with a cheap paint and low quality pre paint prep hence it rusting so fast. Again just what I think.
@@DansShopSD Thanks for your reply. Just got the Intex pool same as yours. Haven't even set it up yet. Your video helps to give me an idea how to set it up, thanks! Frankly, was a bit worried seeing the condition of your pool. Hoping to make mine last as long as possible.
Hey bud you could totally use a flux core to weld that on there. I used a cheap flux core welder. Make sure you got a deep root thats all you need
@@jim4596 so far so good!! Nothing has broke yet…….

Hey man. Curious if the added out drive cavitation plate/ fin you’ve installed on the lower unit has any improved handling/ performance you’ve noticed vs the stock, non modified lower unit. Thanks!
@@ericksonflores6221 I think it helps the boat get on plain/plane? quicker when pulling a skier. That’s about all I noticed
Thank you, that was exactly what I was looking for.
This is closest I can find to my dryer still is different fml
Is there a certain time of year to do this?
I've never seen something like that. Nor has my coworkers, that is impressive in a dumb way. Like how!??!!?
Ive done it. Honestly, its a trencher and for just digging electrical trenches or pipe trenches it works well. I gave up on doing stumps with it and purchased a used stump grinder from a rental store. Bushes and small brush is fine, but stumps... NOPE. BELIEVE ME.. the grinder is so much faster and less clean up. Even with a full size backhoe... I would rather use the grinder.
I looked at these and decided on a used Kubota U17. Payed more and I got more . I got mine with 1400 hours and had to do some maintenance shortly after buying it. I can schedule maintenance I can't schedule a breakdown . The 1500 service was a good Saturday project
Very helpful video. Doing all the prep work for when the belt gets here. Pretty much answered every question that I had in my head.
@@stormbringercoming8105 cool! Good luck with your upcoming project!
CHINA JUNK
I have a question. After I set my clutch. Engine running. The mower is running. Even though the leaver is all the way back. Adjusted the turnbuckle still turns the deck blades. What am I doing wrong?
@@cathyvaughan6347 there is a carbon or brass button that pushes the button in the middle of your PTO. I guess do you have that or is it missing?
How much was the replacement cylinder?
@@davidmcbrayer6458 I got the replacement at local store. I wanna say it was 150 bucks
@@DansShopSD I was considering purchasing one of those. Is it worth it?
@@davidmcbrayer6458 I think so. I have used it a lot to move dirt onto a trailer. Bury rain gutters ( French drain under the ground). I dig out a buddies foundation on his house It’s not the strongest or fastest one out there but dang it’s faster and easier than a shovel!!

@@user-sh5ll2qw6r I got the kit from our local appliance store. Karl’s.
@DansShopSD Thank you very much
Sure looks like renting a backhoe or a mini ex would be the way to go. Those bumper pulled backhoes look like a waste of time and money.
Does the control settings have for excavator or for back hoe settings only?

Back hoe…
@@DansShopSD thank you!
Shouldn't take much to keep up with that
Your chainsaw ..... ummmm practices(?), are less than to be proud of. I'm no pro using them but I do follow specific protective measures. The only one you did right was having your friend pull on the tree. But he neither was in the correct place nor had sufficient rope length in my humble opinion. But the tree wasn't that big so you were good. But the big no-no's were your clothing, no jeans or chaps. Footwear was a joke, boots always. Long-sleeved shirt preferable, more protection. No gloves, no eye protection, no hearing protection. Not even a hat. If youre going to make these kinds of videos, at least do it properly!

@@DansShopSD wow
That would have snapped. Not buying it
This. No way that happened on accident. It would have pinched, not curved perfectly. Is anything on the internet real any more?
Also, if you have water close by, blowing the dirt away from the main roots (hydraulically) will help with removal . I pulled a stump from a 60ft tall Oak that way.
I see that your hydraulic valve is starting to leak through.
How do I justify getting one of those to my wife? Real question, I want one and may or may not need it lol😂
@@CG-11235spiral you got to find a project that will cost you 3k and if you have one of these… then the project is free!!

How tf did u manage that 😂😂😂 thats impressive
I had problems with that variable speed and did a quick repair, but the tractor is still real slow, paddles way to hard to push, but if you give it all you got it might do 4 mph until you use cruise control, and only running about 3 mph. Any idea what's causing this, where are these just slow automatic transmissions... ???
That’s a wall hanger there
How much is it?
@@TheCosmicChariot 2,500.00 when I bought it. I think it’s 3k right now
Question: Is there any way to adjust the hydraulic system so it won't have quite so much pressure? Better than breaking or bending something. 😱 .
@@DD-uf2uo not that I am aware of. This issue is 100% my fault. Pushing the machine way too hard… I’m learning! Ha ha
@@DansShopSD ✔️
Cable number ??? No click then 😢
@@philliphall5198 I don’t know what you are asking…the part number is in the video
Cheap cylinder that rod should have broke not bent ots not hardened
as a guy who pulls a lot of stumps looks like you had some lessons learned on this day. i do not own one of these machines from harbor freight but i did by a mini excavator. i would recoment looking to see if you can make a ripper tooth it makes it about 50 percent faster to get through the anchor roots
Buddy needs to put the saw down and just stay on the couch
I did the same thing with my small Chinese three-point-hitch backhoe. Taking a 12" stump out was an afternoon project. Now it takes me about 10 seconds with the latest addition to my equipment. I now have a Caterpillar 50 ton excavator and I have not found a stump yet that just doesn't come out with one pull.
