What an incredible video!!! Looks like it was an awesome experience.

Very nice video. The music does not fit, though. It is a Southern or East African style, not at all West African, so it feels very disconnected from the video.

From Canton Ohio and really enjoyed all the nut crackers on display. I'm curious where and how do you store all those after the holiday season?

Mike's story is great. Hearing him speak about previously being a programmer made me smile -- it almost makes me want to put the coding away myself and find a more peaceful profession :) We're looking to purchase a bed from Strong Oaks and I don't think I could be more pleased. In these days of trying to find quality items in a throw-away culture, it's refreshing to find someone who cares about and finds fulfillment in building things that last. I really appreciate his perspective on these old wooden structures that most people consider junk. I thought the same until now.

Now I watch these post apocalyptic films as training videos.

AND, for the guy being a long range recon soldier- he lets another guy come up behind him and hit him with the rifle butt. And then has no marks on his head while being questioned? Really guys! C’mon, do better than that!

Not very realistic at all. For one, when making radio contact, you don’t use the words or letters like HQ, that would let the enemy know who or what you’re making contact with. You would use a set series of call signs and frequencies designated in your OPORD and a comm book issued by the SIGINT folks. Also, his LBE was from the Vietnam and 80’s era and the pouches were empty. And he was carrying an SKS rifle. Really? Sorry, but not very realistic unless you’re a keyboard soldier!

I'm on my way to Togo next month April 16th. I've been to Ghana and Nigeria before on mission trips. The people are so beautiful :)

First mistake was he let them sneak up from behind him. Where was his perimeter? He was there at least a year and a half.... should have had traps all around his perimeter with alarms too. Second: after he took out the guard and shot him, he should have killed his interrogator too; and searched the compound at least a little. Why open just one door with prisoners, and how did he know that was a cell holding prisoners?

This is a winner!!! I tend to nitpick, but not on this film, it left me wanting to see more. Lot's of potential for a full movie or series, so long as the lead character is part of it.
