So many fantastic songs this year including my number one Eurovision song of all time, Sweden. Tommy Korberg, what a song and what a performance!!! Still gives me goosebumps.

Over-dramatic for nothing 15 🇱🇻 Extremely annoying and boring guitar riff which doesn't blend well with the calm nature of this song. Lazy at every corner 14 🇩🇰 Clueless how this got 4th ! This song just sounds like him running on stage making armpit farts for 3 minutes. 13 🇧🇻 Never have I heard such a high-pitched voice that irritates me to this point! Composition and stage wise lazy. Also can't find a more generic title for children's song than school holidays XD 12 🇸🇪 Should rank this lower honestly but at least performers and staging seem mature enough. But boy this is just noise I'm hearing! 11 🇧🇾 Very annoying noises and clothing, however she shows charisma and song is memorable 10 🇲🇹 First time I heard this I couldn't know why this placed last, unfortunately I realised after a couple of watches how repetitive and messy it came out. The slightly cheesy lyrics go well with the feeling. The staging is alright, not the best but it'll do 6 🇷🇺 Cute. For a debut it's good, and it doesn't go very big as opposed to others without being sleepy. 5 🇪🇸 As a Spanish learner myself, I didn't understand a thing he sung other than the title myself, not sure many would either. Doesn't matter tho cause it sounds traditional and stands out as a miles better winner than the actual. Voice is great. 4 🏳️ I love and hare this song at the same time ! No actually I think it's mostly funny and it definitely entertains. I'm just not a huge fan of the goofy brass sounds . 3 🇬🇷 Good song, staging and clothes go surprisingly perfectly with the song's feeling. Maybe chorus a bit of a downgrade to the verses 2 🇷🇴 Amazing showstopper of a traditional eastern dance song. Performed great and evolving at each minute. 1 🇲🇰 Wish he'll finally come to adult ESC ! Such a voice and stage presence! The flute adds and white/red staging adds to the song.

The worst year ever was 1991. songs were bad, including the winner. I like only Denmark from that year. The stage was a disastrous cliche, even presenters were not good. So different is our taste : you write in a comment, that in 1992 the winner was excellent, sorry this was for me the worst winner ever. But I respect your point of view. It is an interesting video. okay I can agree on most things even agree to disagree but I can't make any compromise to my opinion on the Norwegian entry. It's not only the worst song in 1997 it is also embarrassingly bad for the Norwegian nation and top 5 worst songs in history of Eurovision.
