Hi guys!!! We've been watching you since we met on the train! What a fabulous trip we had!! We love Calimari but I'm with you Laurie!.... Cilantro tastes like soap to me. :( I'd rather have my Calimari with a good marinara sauce. "Amuse Busche" literally means it amuses the mouth. "Amuse bouche is a French term that refers to a complimentary, bite-sized appetizer or hors d'oeuvre that some restaurants serve before a meal." Sounds like yours was delicious. I miss Alaska already! Would like to go back and spend a week in Vancouver. I fell in love with the Granville Market and wish I could have had a week in an AirBnB to cook from foods from the market there! I agree...what a preview Vancouver is for a fabulous vacation!!!

I’m on a very similar HA land cruise tour now and you’re hitting many of the spots I’ve already seen! I did the Denali tundra and wilderness tour today, I saw the nest where the raven had her eggs, but they had already fledged! And no bears for us today, we did see everything else. Thank you for this!!!! I leave Denali for Anchorage tomorrow, board the ship the next day going southbound to Vancouver. You did a great job with the video, I’m really excited about the rest of my journey.

One thing we did purchase that was valuable in my opinion was the laundry service on the ship. It was not super expensive and we could have packed much less clothing. We did utilize it multiple days.

Hey guys, we didn't see you much the second half the week. But what a trip! Your comments on binoculars are right on. A good set was necessary. Be aware as the magnification goes up, so does the shakiness. I find 8x42 are the highest magnification I can hold steady. 7x and 6x are easier. So finding a good compact 8x42 are ideal as they are easier to get things in to focus. 8x32 can work well too and what we had on the trip.
