im finally caught up lol been watching for a couple weeks

It is super difficult to watch you play without using all the vanilla shortcuts there are in the game.

I like for the EC to monitor drill level instead of cargo level as the large drills have significant storage and fill last. You'll have a heavy boat, tho. :)

A few moments in this I got very lost

You could just put grinders on the construction ship to clean up all the debris

I would have put the autominers in the crater, so they are more protected and you'd see them going in and out. Then build a separate hangar or pad for the reclaimer. Maybe even a vertical launch tower

Another thing about solar, don't be afraid to come up with weird solutions to power. I, myself, fancy having large power arrays with either modded power lines connecting to other grids, or a transport ship that collects charged batteries from solar farms and deposits drained ones.

Love the vids Lunar, juuust one question though... Why haven't you set the Crayfish to excavate the pit? You could've been expanding your base, or scouting more ores, or built some more ships while your drones excavated for you. Then again I don't think being efficient is very fun either. Looking forward to the finished design and future videos, I've already binged the entire series within 2-3 weeks ...

I'd also recommend setting up some cameras on your connectors so you can see where the connector is pointing at. Also, be sure to include a remote control, that way you can set the ship to autopilot.

Just tried this with atmo thrusters on small grid ship. Would this help battery usage? As you press W and hit the speed limit, do you consume power fighting the limit???

New to SE here and damn is this series useful! I've just gotten started and the keyboard shortcuts alone are a huge godsend! Nevermind the explanation on how to rig things like rotors and event controllers! The game is really good (I've alreafy started sinking way more time than intended into it) but really not beginner friendly

Maybe if you built a welder wall you wouldn't have to spend hours welding up multiple ships and repairing things constantly 😅

Hey can you build a hauler that looks like a freighter with a jump drive in a living quarters

Hopefully with the next update there will be some bases on Earth that would be ran by NPCs or just on planets.

I see you conserve your hydrogen because of how limited it is but you can use hydrogen bottles to refill your jetpack when it gets low automatically.

Space Engineers is like that minecraft phase for me, that urge to play here and there lol. But nice to see that there's still content creators making helpful guides, kudos.

Keep pressing b to build under a block that I normally fly on my side to try and get a block in, and ive played from SE from it first coming out lol you really can learn something new every day.

I like the design, but I think the bridge should have been put on top of the antena, and have the fighters come out of the front and return in the rear.

Very informative. Is there a reason why the dampeners were kept on for most of the way up and not just turned off the entire way? Or would it even make a difference?

you can build batteries and discharge the free 30% starting power and keep rebuilding them it turns stone to power the efficiency per kilogram of matter consumed is insane
