Checking brake pressure
zhlédnutí 317Před 6 měsíci
You want 800-1000 psi in the front calipers, and 600-800 psi in the rear calipers for optimum braking. I’m running a Performance Online booster/Wilwood master cylinder kit, with Wilwood 14” and 13” brakes. All of these parts, and the Wilwood pressure gauge are available at my website vannattafabrication.com

Hey I notice you have a CB chassis very nice truck ! Great job . Is it a full chassis or a half back kit ? Did it work for you any thoughts on the product
Thank you. It's just a back half and it worked great. I have switched to Porterbuilt since then, and I stock their front dropmember, rear dropmember, and back halves. I usually have a couple ready to ship for 63-87 C10,s. I have the Porterbuilt parts in my blue 67 C10 that you can see on my website vannattafabrication.com
@@vannattafabrication1915 that’s awesome . I purchased the full 47-54 chassis and it’s been decent so far just communication from them has been terrible . They made a mistake on my rear end and sent one 4” too wide and will not reply to rectify the issue . Other than that it’s been ok . I know porterbuilt doesn’t do a 47-53 . Next time I may go with TCI
Wow this is badass. Very nice
Wow smart idea. Great job.
Thank you
Nice work
Thank you
Beautiful!!!
Just finally assembled mine. I used L brackets to help keep things in place. Then opted for a full length hinge.
Hell yeah!!
🎉🎉🎉 Nice Job 🎉🎉🎉
That's amazing work! What material is the console made out of? Do you have any problems with swelling? Do you also have options for manual trucks? Been needing to install a radio in my truck for a couple years now but didn't really know where to put the speakers so it's been on the back burner.
Thanks for the videos brother ! You do a great job !
Thank you!
Great video beautiful work, was wondering if you have a video of you making the frame so someone like me that would like to build one would have an idea of where to start?
Maybe you can help me out about getting a rear end I bought a 1985 C10 and and I was thinking about going with a 22x12 with a 2" backspace but the truck was already narrowed 3&3/8's on each side so with that 22x12 with a 2" backspace will I have to get a new rear-end
You will need a 54" rear end. So 54" inches from wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface. This is including axle stick out. The rear end housing will only be around 48' wide.
Hey brother. Definitely love the idea and will be doing it to my 87 r10. Not sure where to get the bed strips from
I got them from LMC
@@vannattafabrication1915 ok cool. Thank you sir
You're welcome@@boastarr1095
If you dont tint it will it apply and stay clear? I'm thinkimg about doing it on wood to see the grain.
I've been looking for years for hinges so I can make a flush mount bed cover, ive seen it done on a couple of cars shows and have even called to get information on parts or any help only to be treated like an idiot
Can I run the factory trailing arms still or does it have to be narrowed with that rear end? I’m thinking of putting the qa1 suspension in the back with the 54” ford rear end
You can run the factory trailing arms with the 54” rear end.
Thank you
You're welcome @@mattatkinson1259
I have a 84 c10 short bed looking at porterbuilt drop member for the front in need info
I don't know what info you need. You can probably get the answers to your questions by checking out my website vannattafabrication.com. I have a couple of dropmembers in stock.
What PSI
I like the front bumper valance/lip. Makes the truck look sporty. Where do i find one?
He sells them on his website.
Where were the steering wheels purchased?
What were the rear spoilers made at of. Trucks are awesome.
Do you have emergency brake on this truck. Also are you running a roll pan?
I don't have an emergency brake since I have an automatic trans. I have a rear roll pan.
Hi, where did you get the steel strips from? Need for 91 chevy 1500 short bed.
I like your work. It's very nice. I saw your video about replacement body panels. And I agree with you that they fit great and you just need to keep adjusting and the body lines will line up. Do you know if the gauge of the steel is the same as original panels?
Thank you. The original and new sheet metal are both 18 gauge.
That’s slick AF
200000-dollar truck?????
Hey my friend, I was wondering if you would be willing to let me know the names or codes of the two interior colors you have in this blue truck? I have reached out to tmi and it’s hard for them to tell me what it is over the picture. By the way beautiful truck! Thank you!
Beautiful truck
Thank you!
I'm subscriber 718. I just found you and I like your style.
Thank you!
Thank you.
Love ur attention 2 detail man
Thank you!
Hi Jason, very nice. I need to do my bed soon. I have a question about how the panels on each side of lift panel are attached. How do you support them, with a frame to the chassis?
I used panel bond to attach the metal strips to the wood.
@@vannattafabrication1915 I think he was talking about the wood/strips that don't lift that the mini tub fenders are attached too. How are those attached? Bolted to the side bed and a bracket down to the frame?

Your guys are the best. keep up the great content
Thank you!
thanks for responding very helpful, I am going to attempt it on my 56 GMC A list of what I am gonna need would sure be helpful; 3/4" oak plywood, LMC strips, LS fab hinges. anything else you can offer would really be helpful. Amounts of each item for instance. BTW your website is pretty AWESOME.
Those are all of the parts that I used besides the bolts, washers, and acorn nuts.
Hey man I’ve been watching your beautiful work and I want to ask if you can share paint codes for the blue and green trucks? I’m building one and Like both colors. I want to see which will look better on my truck. Thank you!
Thank you. The blue is a GM color and it’s called Perfect Blue. I don’t have the paint code for the green, but It’s called Bentley Apple Green.
@@vannattafabrication1915 thank you for sharing! merry Christmas for you and your family!
Really appreciate you sharing Bruh, if you don't mind I need info, on the exact parts to do my 56 GMC. it would sure be helpful.
I used LS Fabrication hinges, and they are available at my website vannattafabrication.com. The chrome strips are from LMC. The wood is from Lowes.
What size are the leds
I'm having a hard time locating hinges like that on the interwebs.
They are made by LS Fabrication and they are available at my website vannattafabrication.com
Where'd you get the chrome strips? Where'd you get the wheel tubs?
The chrome strips came from LMC, and the wheel tubs were made by Gowen Mountain Speed Shop.
Nice set up. What radio is that?
Stinger ELEV8. They discontinued it last year. They replaced it with the Heigh 10.
how did you get the bed strips on the edge of the door to stay attached
Panel bond
By chance can you tell what size of bags would be suitable for this?
Slam Specialties RE7’s or Firestone F9100’s would work great.
What kind of mirrors r those if u don't mind
They are 2015-2022 Mustang mirrors that I rebuild to work on 67-72 C10's. They are available at my website vannattafabrication.com
You're the Real Deal man!!! Great Work!!!

How did y’all get the led bar to work on the back ? Led flashers ?
Yes
Video no. 2 huh!?
Nicely done gentlemen!
Thank you!
what color is that?
Perfect Blue. It’s from the Chevy SS car.
Good job guys, very nice!
