About a year ago I purchased all of the books mentionend in this video. And even though I haven't read a single page yet, I feel greatly encouraged and spiritually edified by just watching and touching them. Unfortunately my wife has left me for spending most of our family savings. But hey, you have to set your priorities, right?

He's sincere and a Godly man, but you can't be born a Christian. My DNA is Smith and Williams, I had no choice. If I'm adopted same difference I have no choice. Infant dedication Yes. Being born into a Christian family, puts you in the category of more likely than not you will be exposed to the gospel and respond to God calling you to a saving grace. ex. It's possible sadly, that 1 out of my 3 kids rejects the gospel and embraces atheism.

Logos is a good format to get them in. But the print books also look great on your shelves next to your ACCS set! And make sure you put dustjacket covers on them. That's the best way to preserve marginal printings and hide their imperfections.

Pelagius is about righteousness. Augustine is about holiness. Likewise, Arminianism is about righteousness, and Calvinism is about holiness. The church fails as the pillar of truth when one or both of these are vilified.

It is in Christ alone. No one can bring anything to get salvation, nor as Christian to claim blessing for any work done. Immaterial of one who believes there is a GOD or not, it is always ones duty to do right because all are created in the image of GOD. The question of salvation is does one believe in Jesus Christ.

Positive law is changeable (like circumcision). God is immutable. I wish he went into more detail. This seems like a non sequitur

Puritans are the biggest heresy of the Protestant heresy. Protestants disconnected faith from fruits as confirmation that this faith is true faith. They reduced faith to a mere sentiment. The puritan made it worst exaggerating the original sin doctrine. They made a concentration camp out of everything. Their religious impulse is disconnected from reality since any fruit or work is profane…what a disgraceful movement. Thanks God this heresy is gone

With family worship (and other group worship), before we go to sleep it is not our wife with to have our last prayer to our God, we as the leader is the last one to have a one on one prayer with our Lord Jesus Christ. God bless!!!

in love i dont think thats a good argument for infant baptism and i honestly dont see a good argument for infant baptism. if i cant find it in the text in good faith i cant embrace it which is one of the main reasons why im reformed baptist. Yes God never changes but i dont see how that is a good argument for infant baptism

King James is by far the best version, outside of Greek, ever written. It’s’ readers are the most loyal of all. I would even venture to say that a person that subscribes to the KJV is probably reading more Bible than a person who subscribes to a newer version.

The problem with the analogy of the burning house: If you go to your friend whom you see in a relationship with another man, happy, fulfilled, and you call him to tell him that he is in serious danger by staying with this man, then it can be pretty clearly characterized as an act of hatred or prejudice. I think you don't understand the consequences on people's lives well enough, because you certainly reduce homosexuality to the sexual act alone, and have difficulty understanding everything else that it implies.

Every time Joel Beeke mentions a book, my wallet cries.

Oh gosh, ChristianS, plural. 😨 Be christian is not homophobic itself, a lot of homosexual are christian. ChristianS... yes, they are. Is statistics. It means the majority of christians listen their pastor and believe him. A lot of churches teach that be homophobic is the God path. It doesn't mean everybody are homophobic... I think sometimes life put ourself in front of some challenges and we can't avoid them. I think is better fight those challenges.
