It's honestly ridiculous how many kpop fans COMPLAIN and COMPLAIN non-stop about how "nobody can sing in Kpop" and "Kpop songs are so flat because idols can't sing" and yet they only listen to the groups who CAN'T sing like LSF, ILLIT, IVE, you have gems like Purple Kiss, LIMELIGHT, STAYC, even bigger groups like NMIXX and KIOF who don't get the recognition they all deserve.

LONG ASS COMMENT AHEAD WARNING but a few suggestions from my stupid carat brain: almost any song by the performance team. just in general. highlight, moonwalker, i dont understand but i luv u, back 2 back, and spell are esp up there for me. they either r vogue-y (moonwalker and highlight), have queer ass lyrics (really all of them but ESP back 2 back and idubilu), or give gender (spell and idubilu especially). but literally any and all of theirs work. limbo and psycho, both of juns recent solos, give a) a lot of gender and b) a good amt of queer vibes in the lyrics. just. look at limbos dance and mv in general, and also: tell me things like "do you want me? do you want me to set you free?", "reborn in my limbo", the entire idea of welcoming someone into your world where they can be free and you two can love each other (all from limbo), "in this world, desires become sins", "dont be surprised, you and i both exist as freaks/dont fool yourself into thinking youre an exception", "who's the weirdo in someone elses eyes?"
