When I was 5 I got a board for my birthday. I had been stand up surfing the inside on a boogie board before that. I was my best birthday ever and I still remember it 40 years later. Luckily mine was a 4' shortboard so I could actually duck dive though I was so light that I still failed a lot. I bet he remembers this day forever
