Really interested in adding a battery to run a small fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc. By putting them under the front seats does it compromise the operating proceedure of the seats? Ie height adjustment, swivel etc?

I there a 1 seat. I would like to rent one in August in Spain. 7 people plus luggage regular size. I figure 2 front driver and front then the other 2 then 2 then 1 very rear plus space for luggage next to the 1 seater in the back.

The battery is one of the items on my shopping list to go into my new Multivan.

It is really interesting to see how the seat config differs between UK and Oz. Our triple bench wont sit on the fourth row like yours as it doesnt have a cut out on the side so hits the HVAC system. Also our doubles dont have armrests and we usually have a folding tilting single seat in the 2nd row.

Hi Mark, What a fabulously versatile van and those child booster seats are amazing. We had a Sharan in New Zealand with a similar booster seat. In Australia, is the new Multivan getting your conversion treatments? I see the red California must be a Beach model with double sliding doors! We don’t seem to be able to get these here in NZ, only Oceans available which are too pricing and lack the versatility of the Beach. Anyway great work Mark, a brilliant van

I have the automatic V6. It goes hard. Very fast, but thirsty on fuel. I will keep driving it until the gearbox inevitably dies.

Hey, great job! I am thinking of something similar, but could you please share how the awning is mounted so that it does not interfere with the tent? 🙏 From 2:20 it looks like the L-brackets are mounted to the cross bars, right under tent :?

Please don’t take offence, but the very cheap cook top set up and water tank are in my opinion very sub standard in a vehicle that isn’t cheap.. If you had of used 17 x 225 x 65 you would of been able to save space on the roof rack and mount the spare in its original location. The difference in height gain is only 5 mil

HI Mark, if you were to run a DCDC charger, how would you run it from the engine bay to the rear of the van?

I’d like to know if you fit a LED bar on the top of the nudge bar, doesn’t interfere it with the radar installed behind the grill? If not, how much is the nudge bar and could it be ordered for delivery?

Assume these are the Roger panels from Solar CamperVan Solutions out of the UK. Have one self fitted to my Ocean. Even in the UK sun this takes our off EHU capability from 3 to and easy 5 days.

Is there a double version of this? Or a version that doesn't fill the width of the van?

Thanks for your very informative and interesting video. I run a T5 2x4 transporter. I have fitted 235/70/16 Goodyear wrangler tyres. I find my 2x4 fine, I don't travel to extremely rough area's, though a 4Motion would be great.
