I'm watching all your videos from the beginning, and i really have to say, you have the best channel for beginner japanese learning/listening 🙂👍 ありがとうございます!

After starting to learn Japanese 2 weeks ago, today is the first day I understood about 95% of this podcast at normal speed 😄 I kept coming back to see how much I understand each time and it's finally starting to click! It's so helpful that you include the vocabulary at the end of the podcast, it helped me listen through then learn the vocab and then listen again with better comprehension. Thank you for making these episodes correspond with each Genki chapter!

Well it's not 使う vs 作る... it's 使って vs 作って and similar conjugations. It's about hearing that middle か vs く, and then remembering which is which. But thanks!

I love these kinds of videos to study, but I think you could add more bubble with vocabulary meanings and readings, like you do that already but not so often as could be done, I mean it would be nice if every other noun, not all of them, but even some that usually people know, if it is a long time since you added one, add anyway even if you suppose it is "easy" vocabulary.

Very interesting. I wonder what it usually takes (or has been required in history) in Japan that a reform is put into action. In Europe the political winds have been turning towards right and it has been less than charming to see how tightly the old guard grips onto power (and democracy is deemed "broken" when the votes go to the "wrong people"), seemingly quite willing to destroy a country before losing their precious status. I doubt you are that corrupt or have let pro-Russians infiltrate some of the institutions. ありがとうございます！

it's amazing to me how Japanese people have to spent a big part of their education just to learn the kanji, in Europe we are like a,b,c, ...z and we're done with the alphabet so we can go focus on learning other unnecessary things;/

Not just great for learning Japanese but also for learning about cultural topics. As a gay foreigner living in Japan I want to highlight that there is much less discrimination in Japan than commonly said or perceived. The issue often comes from the focus on minority differences (a concept imported from America); I never hide my partner in Japan but also never mentioned him as my husband to my elderly neighbours. Doing so we are fully accepted and invited to dine at their home but we never use the dreadful « LGBT » world. I say dreadful because mixing sexual orientation with gender problems is a total non sense (beyond just calling for being minorities). Homosexuals fought decades for not being considered as « sick ». There is no drugs or surgery associated with being accepted as homosexuals. It’s a complete different issue. And btw the biggest victims of the quasi religious trans lobby are lesbians. Please try to find a Japanese world alternative to « LGBT » to describe gay and lesbian people !
