This just showed up in my feed...I just discovered Ruth yesterday in an episode of Homeworthy. Amazing that she is is charismatic, her foundation in God, family...her CZcams videos are a blessing......I will ask the same question posed to her. She has a wise uncle and her trust in God is evident.

Ruth is one of the most engaging women I have ever come across. She is so genuine and transparent & her faith is absolutely evident in her family life. She is truly an AMAZING woman, decorator & home cook…..I simply LOVE this “Sister in Christ”!!!! 👆✝️👆

I discovered Ruth McKeaney on Homeworthy last year and her story has been so inspiring to me. Thank you, Miss McKeaney, for helping me verbalize a new prayer during a time of grief when I no longer know what to pray for 😔

Ruth , thank you so much to share this beautiful anchor moment ! I had asked Spirit earlier to show me what is that I AM to do now to serve with my gifts ( I am 61 ) and I felt to go watch an Homeworthy video and Spirit showed me yours … I started crying as you shared your experience as I felt a release inside and the validation of all the support I am given already everyday . Now I am asked to trust opening my Heart more and come out of “ hiding “ and share my story of my healing journey balancing opposites parts inside of me allowing me now to be fully who I truly AM . I had watched few months ago the other videos of your farm , family , cooking … the beautiful book and it all inspired me very much because I grew up in a very different environment than what you describe : family , having lots of people over , blessing and that is what I want to create in my own , authentic , trustful , loving way . I have 3 sons and 2 grand daughters . I AM leaving a legacy of Love and Victory to be shared . Much gratitude dear Ruth 🪽🙏💛🌈🎊

What an inspiring video!! God wastes nothing. Beautiful outcomes out of ashes is the best story of all. Sometimes it takes time but God is faithful as we keep on trusting and growing in our faith. What a powerful story. 🥰

Ruth has helped me to name my dream. ❤ I’d been praying, “Lord, I don’t know what I want! Help me to know what you have put in my heart!” But it was there, just buried. Watching this and Ruth’s other videos has been an answer to prayer and a challenge to pray the same! Lord, give me a vision beyond my resources! ❤🙏

Hi Sara and Katie!! It is SO great to see you both together, even if only virtually!! Sara - I am so happy to hear that you and Katie are BOTH in Gig Harbor now! That is wonderful news! My daughter, Madeline, just gave birth to our newest grandson, Sam, and I just realized the name thing today! Some sort of mind meld from our joined past. I think I should put together a chart of our crossover names for example: Newie and I both have a Cameron, and Nancy Belcher has a son named Luke and that is our first grandson's name... So back to my Mady & Sam - they live in Tacoma right before the Narrows Bridge on the Tacoma side. I go down there all the time and would LOVE to see you gals! I know everyone is crazy busy but this video made me SO happy today! I wish I had kept those rugby jerseys from that photo - great memories! Take care S&K!!

Hello! First time visitor here… I’m watching after seeing Ruth McKeaney’s testimony on your YT channel. I was truly blessed by her praises to God and wanted to learn more about you and your service to His Kingdom. However, I was quite disappointed when I listened to King and Country sing. Again, another first for me. I have to say if I had listened to the song they sang on any other music streaming site, I would have assumed they were singing of a relationship with a spouse/ family member/friend because they did not one time mention God, Christ, Heavenly Father or make any biblical or spiritual reference. I’m not judging their relationship with Him but I believe if He is worthy of praise, we should not be ashamed to LOUDLY and BOLDLY proclaim HIS name.

Obedience to God... that has been His message to me lately regarding my current situation. Ruth, your testimony is confirming what I have been hearing. You are such a blessing! Love your story!!

I ask for your book for Christmas and my husband got it for me. I happened upon this video just this evening. What a double blessing for me. And, how interesting!

I love your story! I watch it over and over and am blessed each time. May God continue to bless you and "Hungry for Home." My husband was a Baptist minister and over the years of his ministry I had so many opportunities to have wonderful Godly people in our home. I hope my hospitality blessed them as much as they blessed me and my family.

Grieving loss daughter and hard to move forward. Huge loss. Saw verse about God taking oath & promise...I need healing...I got hit with couple more biggies.. trials ...and I pray Gods healing. So I can glorify Him the verse was about being tethered to Jesus my Anchor..I think that's what verse meant & Jesus has gone beyond veil in heaven and that's where I'm going. Lots spiritual warfare even doubted my salvation bit when I was led to this sight and saw your nautical Christmas tree..w anchor..star fish I just wept. Thank you!! 😢❤

I don’t have words to tell you how much I needed to hear your story. I watched your home tour on Homeworthy and fell in love with your home and strong bond to your family. I recently watched your CZcams for fall entertaining and ordered your book then looked to see if I could find your recipe for chocolate chip cookies on line and I did so I made them. Of course they were a hit. My dreams of being a homemaker and all things family were completely shattered about 5 years ago and I have felt so lost. I was married for 27 years with 4 daughters and found myself divorced for reasons out of my control and my family felt like it was falling apart. I am so blessed to be a Christian and have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior but, I have had no passion for anything and I have prayed for God to get me out of survival mode and back into blessing others and seeing a future. I fully believe He turns ashes to beauty and that there will be something amazing to come. I have written the prayer down that your uncle asked you to pray and look forward to seeing where God leads. I love your story and your amazing gift for hospitality with beautiful ideas that are practical and make guest feel special. You are truly inspiring. Thank you.
