    Mold doesn’t die, so whoever told Clown Man that is full of it, the spores last for a long, long, LONG time, and you have to use a mold prohibitor after you treat what you can see with bleach or something.

    So everyone saying the framers did this without letting the general contractor know? So you all think the contractor in charge hasn’t been by in a couple weeks and doesn’t already know about this? Do you think there hasn’t already been calls between the builder and the concrete company? I’d bet a good lunch at a reasonable restaurant that the inspector is the only person seeing this for the first time.

    Unless you saw and documented that mold as it came off the truss manufacturer’s truck or very shortly after (within a day or so), the mold developed on your site and it’s your responsibility. Mix up 50/50 bleach and water into an insecticide pump sprayer and spray it down; the mold will disappear. Allow it to dry and proceed with the build.

    I’m gonna let you know… concrete finishers don’t really do form works… this is part of the framing work and the layout guy came a little short with their measurement… it’s only bearing mistake for the outside load bearing wall but an easy fix… don’t cause problems with your eyes… use them to find solutions… better working environment…😂😂❤!!

    They poured the footers too small. The framers made the house to the dimensions on the blueprints. It happens a lot. Concrete guys are underpaid and always in a hurry, doing spotty work.

  • @mackman77095
    @mackman77095 Před dnem

    Those nails are because the hardy was stored improperly for more time than allowed in wet environment not stacked properly... causing an actual warp in the plank. This is why it is all muddy. The only way to make it install flat is the extra nails.

    How would you resolve this?

  • @AS-kn6cq
    @AS-kn6cq Před 2 dny

    Mistakes layered on mistakes. Everyone messed up. But I promise this phone call happened: the GC called framer and said the foundation is ready to frame on. The framers showed up and framed. Even though they shouldn’t have. Waiting a week or two to start a housecould be a cost in the tens of thousands of dollars if they don’t have another job lined up immediately.

  • @AS-kn6cq
    @AS-kn6cq Před 2 dny

    Even those likely in this scenario that the concrete guys messed up. The framers messed up big time. Honestly, the GC should’ve caught this after the foundation was done, but they check stuff like that. If the framers show up to a house with six guys and they can’t start on that day, I schedule talking about a loss potentially a couple thousand dollars for the framing crew if they have to go home and wait a few days

  • @AS-kn6cq
    @AS-kn6cq Před 2 dny

    As a framer, I’ll start by blaming the concrete guys. They probably got it wrong. The framers made a really poor decision though should not have framed it the way they did. Simple solution is probably just to shrink the house. Yes it is possible as long as all the lines are straight.
