"it's got a little kick to it!"
Seem a lot like Nanaimo bars.
I used to make these with my mom
I love that! They are soooo good!
Right when you said mayo I knew you were unseasoned whites… shame
How can I get sponsored by bread 😭😭
It's Better than Gordon ramses
I tried the mayo one time it was vomit inducing. I like eggsalad but grilled mayo is not the way.
Gotta use real mayo. technically mayo is nothing else other than eggs and oil.
disaponted
not supersede that she used mayo
Nice! However, I prefer Dave's Killer Whole Wheat Bread - Soften grass-fed cow butter to room temp and slather both sides of two bread slices out to the edges. Warm up the fry-pan to between medium & medium high and first grill each slice of bread on one side, turn one over and lay some thickly sliced extra sharp cheddar cheese on the grilled side and set the grilled side of the second piece on top of the cheese. When the side that's still against the pan is grilled, flip to grill the last side. Serve with Campbell's condensed tomato soup that was reconstituted with milk, not water. Bring to a boil, but be careful, it will boil over much more easily than when you use water.
You have to brown that beef first for sear flavor
Yes, that’s the beauty of the Instant Pot! You can do it all in one pan.
Where’s the buffalo sauce?! Lmao
I think she put about 2 drops of it in there lmao
These are my favorite holiday goodies. My mom has made these for a lot of years. Probably close to 30 years. But she uses Special K, so we appropriately call them health bars.
Yes, that’s a great variation! 🥰
Why make a video and not put the recipes with it?
Mmmmmmm
That looks soooo good I will have to try that!!!
Super easy and fun! Merry Christmas!
It turned out to be awful! I followed the directions to a TEE! And they came out hard as a rock! We had to use a knife I use to a butcher knife bones in half and I still needed a literal hammer to get it out of my pan! And “ no” I only brought it to a boil as instructed and then a simmer!
Hi there, I have made these hundreds of times; no hammer required ;) Make sure you're not pressing the mixture tightly into the pan (as in compacting). That would remove any air and they would be very hard. Thanks for your comment so I could address it!
Don't boil the sugar & syrup. Heat on med and stir just until sugar is dissolved and bubbles start. Take off the heat & add peanut butter. I always add 1/3 cup more corn syrup, 1/3 cup more peanut butter and a teaspoon of vanilla. It's never failed me. I make these at least once a month. Do NOT boil the syrup.
@@lilzabug I made my mom's recipe for the first time in 15 years… She's no longer with me to ask. Her instruction said to cool in the fridge for 10 minutes before cutting. I left them in for 20 while making caramels on the stove… When I tried to cut them, the chocolate separated & broke apart from the cereal "crust." Any tips for avoiding that?
@@stephaniek2913 I put the chocolate/butterscotch mix on while the cereal is still warm. I usually just let the bars cool on the counter for a while before I put in the fridge for a very short time just to help the chocolate get solid. Before I cut them I take them out and let them come to room temp again. Maybe the chocolate is too cold? Caramels sound good. I don't think I've ever attempted to make that. I did some chocolate peanut brittle today to send to my son. Tomorrow maybe English toffee. 'Tis the season!
@@lilzabug OK. I think you're right. I don't think I let them sit on the counter, long enough for the chocolate to sort of melt into the cereal portion. I think the chocolate cooled too quickly in the refrigerator and then I tried to cut them. Even though I sprayed the glass pan with nonstick, they were difficult to get out, and just to cut in general and that also dislodged the chocolate. I will try again tomorrow! Thanks 🙏🏻
These sound delicious 😋 i will b making these

nope, the lemon juice keeps them from browning. Enjoy!
