bought this racquet used after watching this video. previous owner installed a leather grip and i applied bumper tape just so i could keep it in pristine condition if i decide to sell it, new to 18x20, but with the added swingweight my forehands were explosive! its extremely great on the returns as well. the low launch angle gives me so much confidence, i love it so much!

Imo your comment on passing shots is incorrect. Lemme say you could definitely beat me man I’m not trying to be a smartass, it’s just I think there’s a flaw in the logic: Coaches tell you to play the safe shot to the net player’s feet. It’s not just because the shot is safer than going for a pass off the first ball although that is part of it. It is about building the point. Your first possible pass attempt should be when your opponent is furthest from the net (vs you give them a few volleys and let them close the net) meaning it will be the easiest time to try to find their feet. If you hit to their feet they physically have to hit the ball up. Sure a player can hit a great half volley, but that’s not something to build a point around. More likely, if you do get the first “pass” attempt to their feet they will pop it up to some extent and give you a much better look at the second pass attempt. Which you should absolutely go for a winner yeah. But it’s about setting up that weaker ball to go for that winner. Could take a few shots to the feet to get a good look if they’re hitting crazy low volleys and half volleys. The same way that you want to build a point in a baseline rally and capitalize on a short or simple ball would be the correct mindset/approach to net defense. Not passing on the first shot. Anyways good match thanks!

Got the Lacoste AG-LT23 few weeks back. You were spot on. Most amazing tennisshoe, yet alone just shoe I have ever worn. I want to have one pair just to use as my casual shoes, they are that comfortable! Got the red Daniil Medvedev edition ones (with dark blue top) and they look absolutely stunning. Really hard to find a clay version of them, TW EU is sold out in my size and no1 else ships to my country.
