Sorry, the comparison is absurd. Blondie is much more pop than Rush. Blondie is definitely chart oriented. Rush, no. And despite this, Rush sold 50 million records and Blondie 40 million. Progressive rock, heavy metal - progressive, power pop, hard rock... beating new wave and pop in total numbers. Fortunately, good music goes way beyond numbers. By the way, Blondie is a good band.
