It’s not necessary to loosen the Allen screw. It will come off without doing that. You’ll have to apply a little more force but it will come off.

Wood ash works as good as lime for curing the spuds if you don't want to spend money. but takes a little bit longer to heal the cut. If you want bigger spuds then leave one eye ( chit ) on each spud/cut and you will get MASSIVE potatoes

Hi I need one for mainly dust control on my jobs i have a JD 3046r enclosed tractor with a loader for weight ya think I could run the 100 gallon one ? Mainly just for wetting roads and job sites and an occasional weed spray but mainly water I also like the boom less sprayer what do you suggest ?

Can we use anything other than powdered lime?

Just wondering after watching this a couple times....Would it be better to lower your cultivator shanks a bit and raise your cultivator frame the same amount to avoid wacking the plants with the cultivator frame. Leaving the frame at that height, you could then drop your hilling discs a bit lower as well to avoid hitting the plants during that operation, or is that not really a problem for the plants? Ive only hilled with a rake and/or hoe and was careful around the plants, to not damage them.

So can you use the potatoes you buy from your grocery store and let them grow the sprouts? Or should I get a specific ones to plant in a 5 gallen food grade bucket?

I bought the row builder from STC last year and planted my potatoes just like this. BEST CROP I EVER HAD 300 lbs or more sure beats the trenching and hilling by hand. Best to you from Ohio.

Just to add, make sure that your 3pt does not move from side to side or very min. Try to lockin those sway bars .
