How are you running this so smoothly? What is the configuration you are using in this version of Xemu?
nothing fancy, just 2x internal resolution displayed at 2560x1440. as far as i'm aware, i'm just relying on brute force to run the game in a playable state.

What is your hardware? Does it crash when you do a regular race with other cars?
i7-13700kf Gigabyte RTX 4070Ti and 32Gb DDR5 ram with this current computer i've had very few crashes with other cars, though the FPS does still drop quite a bit on some tracks like Road Atlanta. However, my old computer with an i5-9600k and RTX 2060 did have a ton of trouble doing regular races.

I would assume so, I couldn't say by how much better as I don't have any experience with a RTX 4080. On my setup CPU utilization appears to hover around 16% while GPU around 32% utilization.
@@decked2199 This is a multi-factorial issue here. Your Nvidia control panel settings, your pc cooling structure, among other things, as well as the game probably not being emulated as best as it could (not your fault but the developer's). Your GPU should be close to 99% without any issues.

Please keep in mind that this video was released a year ago and requires a little bit of context. There once was a time where FM1, running xemu, did not load almost any textures or 3d assets. Relative to that sad point in time, what is shown in this video was a huge leap forward in FM1 emulation.

don't know the real answer but my guess is a combination of my computer not being beefy enough and xemu still having work to be done.
Xemu is the laughingstock of emulation
Not to mention the occational latency issues with streaming music, hard to read strums and palm mutes, and missing features still labeled as "Beta" in a full release (in typical modern game fashion). PROS: if you're just starting guitar, the virtual tutor stuff is alright. I guess you could use that as a step towards learning your favourite song on your own, which imo might be more self-satisfying to simply learn the guitar. As someone who's been playing guitar for a few years, I've just used Rocksmith as "Guitar Hero but with Real Guitar" game to have some fun instead of just learning. I guess maybe Rocksmith+ just isn't made for me... or most other people with previous guitar and/or Rocksmith experience.
Sadly this game is gonna be dead in 3 months around. They improved the game, but the list of songs is absolutely trash.
I'm still suprised how bad it is, way back before I tried the beta my worry was that they would keep moving songs I love in and out of rotation. Instead, there just isn't any except for a couple bands. What I didn't realize is that the subscripton model means they only have to have just enough good songs to show off, then just add a bunch of "cheap" filler to get people to subscribe. As long as people subscribe to the service, Ubisoft profits. Unlike in RB2014 where they had to go out of their way to keep adding top tier DLC to convince people to continuously spend money.
