Just completed the install on a ‘24 ORP. It went smooth, on my back, in the driveway. So nice working under a clean vehicle. The one thing that concerns me is the shield makes contact with the frame just before the rubber bumper, on both driver and passenger shields. I thought the rubber bumper would be the only thing contacting the frame at that location. Don’t know if it’s going going to be a problem? I’m not getting any rattling which is good. I boogered up one of the safety bolts, so I ought to replace it now, while it’s still simple to remove.

For those crying about video quality. Please do yourself a favor and pay a professional to install it. This install is straight forward. 😂

Is it normal for the black support beam to be extremely tight against the cat shield at a contact point? It felt like it shouldn’t need to be forced/bent to tighten all 4 bolts. I’ve watched a few different instruction videos and the support arm seems to go back with ease. I really don’t want to have to return it

No instructions, video is from 20 feet away. This is aggravating. Think I am going to return mine. There was no customer consideration in mind when they made this product.

Can I use a fuse tap connected to an ACC fuse (or something similar) and connect that to the red power (battery) cable instead of connecting it to the battery?

Does the switch come with the wired plug in?

You guys have two designs ? One for 2WD and one for 4WD. Is there really a difference? Seems like they both can work?

Hi caliraised, what whip/antenna mount is that? Is it bolt in?

Does the switch fit in lower panel? The spot you installed yours is taken in my 2023. Auto brights or something.

I just installed mine pretty simple the hardest part in my opinion was getting the switch in the cab ,but after testing it they turned on then once I tucked the wires away and reconnected them they stopped working the switch is getting power but lights aren’t coming on :(

Hi, how do you connect the wires, so that the switch comes on with the dashboard lights like the rest of the oem switches?

A few close ups to show the component you’re actively working with and the orientation of it would have helped me from having to take things apart just to flip them around, also an instructional video should probably never have the words “forgot a part” in it. For a product this expensive this video is a slap in the face.

I read that you need fuel tank straps from a TRD Pro to install the fuel tank skid plate...

I installed 2 light bars. My truck isn't overheating, but it's not cooling down fast. I would recommend going another route.

Small drill bit and the light problem is fixed. I dont know why they forgot to do that at the factory. I'm with ya on the other two. What about the engine? I have heard yoda has really been slacking on build quality recently.

Totally on board with the seat. What in God's green earth are they thinking with them! My work has a couple and I can't drive them for more than 30 minutes due to the seat.

So the installation has you remove the cover to the box portion of the frame but the handle piece with the 2 pre installed nuts prevents me from putting that piece back, now water snow and mud can just fill up In there. Did anyone find a way to get the covers back on the frame?

Love how easy the install is, especially on the 2020 4Runner. Although I’d add a step… after you realize there is no metal on the passenger side, after you drill your holes, go back online and order some rubber plugs for the holes you drilled in your hatch panel. Not sure you can affix rivnuts to a plastic sheet but who knows. Who did the R&D on this?

You never showed how to access the switch panel. It tilts down but you don’t show where the tabs are to drop the panel
