Great vid! I love using this technique and I’ve heard it called, “The tape-only cast”. I love it’s simplicity, especially for the tiny birds, which are so challenging to splint. I had not thought of using hemostats to compress the tape on each side - good idea. For those who try this, my suggestion is to always be aware of where the entire length of your scissors are, because it’s easy to accidentally clip off a toe, etc, while cutting the tape. I also clip off all the sharp corners of tape so they don’t stick into the bird
