I went to Greece in May 2022,staying in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini for three to four days in each location. It's a much different experience when you're able to be there outside of cruise ship hours. A much better experience as even if it was busy we had the luxury of time as we didn't have a ship to get back to.

And so, by traveling to see what we love, we ruin it for ourselves and everyone else. 😢

The transatlantic cruise must have been really crowded if you could not get a reservation at Cagneys. Usually they are not so crowded. I am like you that I like to try new ships even though I enjoy a cruise. I have been on Epic twice. You guys seem very balanced in your review. Keep enjoying your retirement. You earned it!!!

Really enjoyed this. I've been on the Epic twice and think she is a great ship. She's got lots of quirks for sure. However the venues are so large. The lines you experienced were crazy. I never experienced things like that but I cruised Epic before the "free" drinks package. So happy to see you guys exploring and enjoying your retirement.

Thank you for this video! I’ve been trying to decide the best option for getting to Port Canaveral with my husband and 4 y/o. The options that include a car seat or where you take a bus that wouldn’t require a car seat are so expensive. It was so nice to see on Cruise Control Transportation’s website that they don’t charge for using their car seats. ❤

It’s funny you mentioned cruising is the best way to determine if you want to return and you can see multiple cities. I did the same thing in Italy. I do however, have a few places in Italy that I want to return to and spend more time in. Love your videos!!!

Good video. We were on the Norwegian Epic in February 2023. While the ship is relatively new, there are significant problems that will impact your cruise. First, we really disliked the set up of the toilet and the shower in the stateroom. It was OK as we traveled as a couple but had I brought a friend, there was a total lack of privacy. Second, the entertainment venues on the Epic are small for a ship that size. If the ship is crowded, those venues are often filled an hour before the performance. We did not like the service on the ship but that is another issue.

I was there a few years ago traveling through Spain, loved Alicante spain. Nice quaint and walkable. I climbed it from the other side with a guide..not an easy hike, but it was nice and cool when I was there. Loved the sights, sounds and food

wow…love the fruit and veggies…looks clean. Surprised, I was in Milan and I was surprised by how dirty it was. I took a cruise from Civitavecchia, but did not stop in Livorno
