Lined clothing lasts longer and shows quality 😊 Also a lot of ppl do not realize this, but it is recommended to hang art work at eye level. Many ppl instead hang things high on the wall. Just a tip I had to learn the hard way 😊 But cool gallery wall, ooo and what a comfy chair!!!

I would love to visit this place one day! And I definitely want to try the collage around my sketches, it’s such a great idea. I usually get a postcard or stickers from the museum and add it to my pages along with any tickets/pamphlet given.

I love Elena Ferrnte! I’ve read the My Brilliant Friend series and Lying Life of Adults, and loved them all! I would agree that Lying Life of Adults is a good place to start cause you get a feel for her writing, but the My Brilliant Friend series is truly a gift to read!

I do like having no pressure but I also like having a good end result I’m proud of, I need to unlearn wanting to be praised for my art and wanting to make good stuff every time

i love this! lynda barry has a book called 'making comics' and she specifically asks her students to use a composition book as a daily diary because of the familiarity. i highly recommend her book if you haven't read it already!

Thanks for showing us your beautiful vintage books.My favourite book as a child was , Please sit still, written by Natalie Scott and illustrated by Sandra Smith. It had the most beautiful , funky, late 60's stylised pictures. It came in a boxed set that my parents bought for me in the late 60's. It was a fun story and beautiful to flip through.

If you don't like the cover, you can either tear out /cut out a page and glue it onto the cover or you could glue on a blank page and draw random doodles on it.
