Carnival for sure I’m not a senior citizen yet

I was on a cruise ship, June 13-18 2024 and on the 4/5 day at diner my family and I say somewhat of a black figure, it wasn’t a bird we were more than 20 miles off shore. We thought it was a jet ski, only because it was moving. We never figured it out and it’s still a mystery.

The whole entire time I was on the Disney cruise my cousin was throwing up ice cream… definitely a cruise to remember😅 we were only 7…

Naw. The costs to high. I have to sacrifice things for a full year just to make it to DISNEYLAND alone. I have to stay in a hotel under $100. No way I could afford that!

Do you need your passport or does royal Caribbean’s birth cert and state ID suffice to adventure in Victoria? Also I have an infant who will be 9 months? Can he go into Canada too?

Carnival is like a floating Walmart

As someone who has been aboard both I can say that when it comes to amenities, royal wins but when it comes to family endorsements Disney wins since I went on Disney cruises 7 times during my entire childhood

2011, we were on Oceania's Regatta (800 passengers) from Anchorage to Vancouver. We actually got on the ship in Anchorage. Visited Homer, Seward, and the Hammer Museum in Haines along with Juneau and some other places.

Too many people. Viking Ocean has 900 passengers, no charge for specialty restaurants, no children, no casino, no umbrella drinks, beer, and wine included with lunch and dinner. Oceania has 800 or 1,200 passengers, the best food, no extra charge for specialty restaurants, and very few children. Both are focused on learning about the places you visit rather than on midway attractions on the ship.

Me myself I could care less on the activities the ship has. You’re in Alaska, be outside and soak in all Alaska has to offer. Bumper cars is for the Caribbean. We went with Princess this past May and no one does Alaska better than them and Holland.

Even i was too affected by the flies on the chicken, i actually started swatting at the screen! Food safety is very important so the management should take this issue very seriously.

Very nice video, researching hotels for a cruise on the Wonder next year. What month were you at the Pan Pacific? Do you sign up for hotel membership on their website?

the fact that I can just drive out for 30 mins with my mom and see 5 glaciers….. (I did this in anchorage, Alaska)

Just finished my 7th carnival and 6th royal this year and I will say carnival wins with food but their ships are so far behind royal. Went on the vista so many people so chopped up so werid. Some of royals 20 year old ships are bigger with the royal promenade and blow carnival out of the water

imagining an alternate universe where they have to have everyone off the ship before moving through the canal... and then they re-board again afterwards

carnivals food is trash. royal is not much better. both has huge ships where service suffers.

Carnival doesn’t have any ships that can compare to Royal Caribbean oasis class or icon class for starters.

But you will never have to wonder becuase they do celebrate Thanksgiving on Royal Caribbean Cruises!

im not trying to start anything but royal carribbean is cheaper but is bigger and offers more things to do
