We are a group from the #Commodore #Amiga scene, born in early 2007, basically dedicated to promoting the use and culture of the Commodore AMIGA computer, both classic and "new gen", through various channels of dissemination, mainly the blog http: // www. amigatronics.com/ in which we publish almost daily news related to our beloved platform in addition to all kinds of related information. We also have a presence on the main social networks such as FaceBook and Twitter as well as on Ivoox and CZcams where we post our podcasts and videos of different kinds such as animations, demos and soon video tutorials, reports, etc. In addition, we dedicate ourselves to small part to the rest of the retro machines and video games due to the bond and affection that unites us. So now you know, if you feel nostalgic, curious or simply want to share all this with us, do not hesitate to follow us and even participate in the project. Thanks for being there :)

BC Kid, Parasol Stars, Mr Nutz. For historical reasons you probably should also include the original SotB, even though it was kinda a terrible game.

Most of these games are not 50fps so there's that. although 25fps can look pretty smooth on a 50hz screen. However some of them are 50fps games and should have been perfectly smooth like Kid Chaos, Brian The Lion, Soccer Kid and Zool 2. With Zool 2 though it depends if they recorded the floppy version or WHDLoad version, WHDLoad version is choppy asf (even on the real deal) while floppy version smooth as butter. The other 3 they've recorded/edited/encoded with mismatch fps somewhere, eg: 50record 60edit 50encode. Jim Power and James Pond seem to be closest to the real deal and that's only if you've watched this video at 50fps and changed your monitor setting to 50hz.
... Holy F, what on earth is the awful conversion of Ghouls N Ghosts doing in there? That was one of the "straight from ST" consumer-conning horrors which plagued the Amiga. All of the mid-to-late 80s classic Capcom arcade titles got butchered in that way (except for Ghosts N Goblins, which eventually got a good conversion several years later).
According to lore, Addams Family was supposed to have parallax backgrounds like Toki, but there was a bug that turned them black and they couldn't fix it before they had to ship...

Also, thank you so much for posting this - my uncle had Amiga and I would go to his smokey den in 1994-1995 to play Amiga games. I had managed to trace most of the Amiga exclusives I had played there, like Superfrog, Lotus III, First Samurai, and even Traps and Treasures, the name of which I kept forgetting (English not being my native language). With your video I finally found the last of them - Lionheart!

@@amigaos2823 It's just a small sample I made to test the capturer. Now I'm editing a video opening some programs and games. It will be a short and simple video but with sound from PAULA. Little by little I will upload more complete videos. Thank you for your words.

Lionheart was pure quality. If all Amiga games looked and played like Lionheart the Amiga would have sold 10X as much as it did and we'd all be using Amigas today.

Ever since i saw the Eric W. Schwartz animations many years ago, I noticed, they were created on the 16-bit Commodore Amiga. And as i remember correctly, when i was a kid and teenager back in 1990's, I even saw the pictures on the Amiga magazines, such as... - AMIGA POWER - AMIGA FORMAT - CU AMIGA - THE ONE FOR AMIGA - AMIGA ACTION This video deserves a big retrospective furry like 👍🕹️ from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮. Also, i still have the original hardwares of the Commodore 64 and Amiga 500 😺👍🕹️.
