How do you feel about toe down chipping with a 7/8 iron as a beginner? Or should I just stick with a normal chip and work on my mechanics?
Depends on the chip. If a bump and run makes sense, I like the 8 iron toe down. But if it’s a chip out of the rough to a short flag u gotta almost always use a 54-60° and come across it to produce more spin
Toe down, choke up, good turf interaction, titties to the target, get it on the green. This is the way of the Playa.
Why the driving iron on the last hole? More club and you would have cleared that bunker

Unless he’s playing golf in the Himalayas this drive probably went between 265-275 yards and the 150 yard 50’ wedge likely was around 120-130 yards.

That's what happens when you hit it good and use compression not everyone is tiger woods who says he doesnt take a divot when hitting flush😂 maybe learn that the ground is very obviously wet and soft too😂
@RitzyEG I understand how and why a divot is taken. But you shouldn't need to resod the fairway after each shot. You can rationalization it all you want. It'll still be way way way too much divot
